Swara Pallavi does not necessarily involve lyrics or rhythmic syllables (jathis). Instead, it revolves around the manipulation and elaboration of the chosen swara pattern. Jathi Swaram: Jathi Swaram, on the other hand, is a rhythmic composition that primarily focuses on rhythmic patterns (jathis). It often features rhythmic syllables (jathi patterns) that are intricately woven together in a systematic manner. While melodic elements are present in Jathi Swaram, they usually serve a supportive role to the rhythmic structure rather than being the primary focus.
