KK was 2nd & 3rd generation best singer after 1st generation singers MD.Rafi, Manna Dey, Nukesh, Kishore Kumar (also a KK), Mahendra Kapoor. His voice quality was quite similar to Kishore Kumar young voice (till 70s song) but his voice remained at last concert as young as hus 20s. Music Directors should have used more often his later years from 2015 onward & would have had more great songs like is early years till 2015. I remember one interview where he said Rajesh Roshan asked him to sing Kite film songs and told him he made tuned of those songs keeping Kishore Kumar in his mind but he is more & I want you sing these songs with similar feel or closer. After recording he hugged him and said you brought the same feelings which Kishore Kumar would have brought..
