"Tarika" is the first collaborative album in the history of Nepali hip-hop where Brhymin, Grizzle, Nasty and V$X put together verses on lush production from various producers including BBeats, N ON DA TRACK, Kanak, and V$X himself too. This was the first time you could hear 4 rappers craft a body of work and it didn't take time for the audience to catch on.
"Tarika" loosely translates to "the proper way of doing things" in English.
This project was a ground-breaking project as it reset the trend of Nepali hip-hop as it shifted from trap music to drill music. And although the final draft of the album was not of the length as it was originally planned, it still gave us classics like "Naya", "Chill Gar" and "Jatra" which were way ahead of its time for 2020. The BTS from the music video of "ICE" famously gave birth to a debate that turned into one of the most historic rap-battles in the history of Nepali hip-hop where we saw our camp go against virtually everybody else from the industry and still come out unscathed.
Today, the legend of "Tarika" lives on through our biggest hits "Naya" with 1M+ stream(s) on KZfaq and "Jatra" amassing over 350M+ streams across all platforms. It's also alive through these music videos and the sequel(s) that might follow.
