This drama made me realize one thing, and that is not everything in life is meant to stay with us and have a beautiful ending. Not every person we feel something deep and moving with is meant to make a home within us, is meant to be forever. This drama will always have a special place in my heart. The happiness, struggles, friendship, success, loneliness, love, and reminiscing are all felt and embraced. From romcom - melodrama to coming of age story. The ending is beautiful but tragic, magical but still wanting. (to what i felt 😢) I can't move on yet. My attachment on this drama cannot vanish easily.

The fact that this song is in this drama ost reflects the intention of the screen writer about BYJ character. It will be a sad ending to unfold. But I will appreciate the journey of the story. Now I understand why Hee Do choose to forget the beach scene. It maybe too sad for her to remember.

I don’t think a happy ending must be both main character be together. I find it beautiful when both the character grow and found out what they truly want， whether it is to be together or to support from afar. It’s still a beautiful story and drama. It so real and beautiful.

I will comeback to this video once the drama will end. I'm still hoping for a happy ending, but if it's not... I'll replay and replay this song until I can finally move on from this drama. Hahahaha

After done all 16 episodes of "25,21" I now understand why it calls "Twentyfive, Twentyone". The scenes on episode 15, when BYJ & NHD celebrating new year, they're so in love and NHD say each other's age (Yijin 25; Heedo 21). For me that is the most sweetest and memorable memory for both of them but it doesn't last long T_T *cried*

A beautifully written love story doesn't necessarily need a happy ending. That's what makes it beautiful. Regardless of the ending, it was beautiful. I need something like that! HAHHAHA

The most tragically beautiful, yet traumatizing kdrama ending that I had ever watched. I could literally watch this over and over, and yet I can still feel the feeling of sadness and happiness from the series. (The pain still haunts me till now)

After knowing the english translation of this song, I don't know what to feel anymore. Baek Yijin and Na Hee Do 😭😭😭

I rewatched the drama for the second time to lessen the pain by watching their laughter, jokes, immaturity, falling in love, wanting relationship etc only to end up falling in a spiral of pain once again. I listened to the song and cried for hours. Part of me loves that they didn't force their way through the relationship and handled their breakup with maturity and part of me wishes that Heedo and Yijin actually stayed together or even in contact to get back to each other. Heedo choosing herself is what makes me happiest but not knowing what type of life Yijin might have had afterwards is what keeps me up at night. This show made me realize that a good friendship is important, you can love a person while not having that person as yours, embrace yourself before others, never give up and keep working hard towards the things you want with all your will power. Nam Joo Hyuk did a fabulous job playing Baek Yijin. Kim Taeri's character development from a clue teenager to a matured woman is beautiful. Twenty five, Twenty one ❤

I actually thought that the awesome director behind this is the director of Reply 1988. I had the same tears, adoration and frustration for each characters. Scenes that made me laugh and scenes that made me cry like a baby. I never knew that I would feel so much again for a kdrama for the second time. Reply 1988 then 2521.

I still listen to this song since I first heard this on 25,21. It taught me so many things in life. The moment it played right while BaekJin watched Hee Do on the fountain scene, as if realizing that time have taken away his youthfulness b'cuz of the korean-depression. And the moment where Hee Do was walking alone in the snow, watching it falling, remembering the last year's promise that they would be together forever. It all resonates in me. When I was a kid, I used to love the world, the beautiful flowers on our neighbor's backyard, the morning rain where u just want to stay in bed, the smell of roasted eggs, and the fragrance of newly washed clothes. As I get older now, I can still smell sometimes those things, or smile whenever I see the flowers, but when I walked passed them, the memories, the scents, and everything about the innocence of my childhood, vanishes in an instant. I don't know why I always felt that way. Maybe b'cuz I was just now a broken soul who've lost everything with her while growing up. The dreams, the life, the hope, the promise of a greater future, stands nothing but a distant memory of my past. And it's more tragic in real life.

It’s been months since I finished this k drama I’m not over it I’m never gonna be over it. Twenty five twenty one got me screaming and crying, in my head they had their happy ending.

I heard this song from the drama...And it's so beautiful.. Somewhere it has a retro vibe...It was released in 2013... But I somewhere I can get the feel of both the 90's era and the 2000's... It's soothing... But at the same time very emotional for someone going through a heartbreak or breakup.. We can feel the emotion through the lyrics and tune... Loved it❤❤❤❤

I just finished this drama and it just hits harder as I've recently gone through a breakup. Even a love as special as they had, doesn't always last. Cherish your loved ones, cherish your friends, cherish your family, cherish life.

I did not know the fact that this song was composed way before the drama. Now knowing this makes me realize the drama was meant to have a sad ending.

I relate to this song so much. Not only did I find a crazy love that ended in my 20s which started in my teens, but it made me realize that beautiful things no matter how much it feels so right, could end because it wasn't the right time and the right one for you at that certain stage of your life. Love like this will always stay in your memories as a beautiful story that really made you grow. It's both your fairytale and reality. Something you really thought would last.

This song really breaks my hear cuz whenever i hear it i remember the scene when hee do was waiting for yijin to come at the end of the year festivals. I guess you can’t have everything in this life, at least all at one time , maybe you’ll have it all later. i think i’ll put myself first now and move forward, I don’t want to wait any longer for him and lose what I’ve been getting ready and doing it for for years, i don’t even know if I want him anymore even if he liked me back. The drama finally ended today. It was a nice journey a roller coaster of emotions, but the series taught me so many things 1st Let's try not to suffer so much cuz its ok to make mistakes, that the past is a nice place to visit but not a good place to stay. Do not be afraid to make some detours during your journey. Sometimes love is not just about holding on but sometimes about letting go. Sometimes it is not meant to last forever but that doesn't mean its not worth it. And the best thing about it, it shows that choosing yourself is not a selfish thing to do. I think Both Hee-do and Yijin did the right thing they don't want to hurt each other anymore by constantly waiting and always apologizing. After the present hee-do went back to the tunnel i realized that sometimes the closure you need is not with someone else but with yourself. i never really understood what julia b. said until now that having no closure is a closure.

My heart aches for them, every-time I think about it. I don't know who has the worst ending, 25-21 or scarlet heart. I sometimes have to make up a good ending for them in my head to settle my heartache. In my head, I pretend that they both met again and made up all the time lost, and got back together. The little daughter is actually their's and they live happily ever after.

Great casts , beautiful story , amazing osts , although it a sad ending for Hee do and Beak yijin but their story was beautiful and the ost makes it more beautiful . Amazing performance by Kim tae ri and Nam Joo hyuk . Well Some love stories are tend to be incomplete, which makes it more beautiful because completed things ends but incompleted things continues forever ❤️ Congratulations to 25 21 , Great work 👏👏
