In this video, I have explained how to upgrade from JAVA 8 to JAVA 11 with Selenium WebDriver | Java 11 Setup With Selenium WebDriver.
As per Selenium official announcement , Java 8 will no longer be supported after Sept 30, 2023. Hence, it's time to upgrade your Java version to minimum supported version (Java 11).

Hi bro. For my project need, i need to launch my application in Edge browser with internet Explorer mode. If I open the application in edge browser manually, its automatically opening in an internet Explorer mode only. But in automation i am getting pop up like to turn off the remote debugging mode to open in an Internet Explorer mode. We are using java with selenium version 3.141.59. Please tell me some workarounds for this bro

Hi sir, After updated java8 to java11 in eclipse, only able to run Java Application(checked cmd prompt java & mvn version). But, while running on "TestNG" shows Java Virtual Machine Launcher Error: A JNI error has occurred please check your installation and try again. Please suggest

I am going to point out one problem with Java versions after 11, if you use J Meter and generate HTML report, you can not do it if you have any Java version after 11, i-e 17 or 19 or even 20 I had this issue when I was using Java 17 and try to run J Meter and generate HTML report, I had to downgrade Java from 17 to 11 and only it worked

It's nothing like this. It will work but selenium won't give any support for java 8.

Hi Naveen, I have already upgraded to Java 17 from Java 8. When u run through eclipse it's working fine but through cmd I m getting build success but all scenarios are getting skipped. Can you please tell me the reason?

Hi Naveen, For Selenide framework also, need to upgrade to Java 11? Does Selenide internally uses Selenium or Selenide is different framework that doesn't depend on Selenium and no need to upgrade from Java 8. Please your thoughts that would be more helpful.
