Minecraft: Java Edition (formerly just Minecraft) is the original version of Minecraft, developed by Mojang Studios for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Notch began development on May 10, 2009, publicly releasing Minecraft on May 17, 2009. The full release of the game (version 1.0.0) was on November 18, 2011, at MINECON 2011.
Bedrock Edition (officially subtitle-less; also known as the Bedrock editions, Bedrock versions, or just Bedrock) refers to the multi-platform versions of Minecraft developed by Mojang Studios, Xbox Game Studios, and SkyBox Labs and based on the Bedrock codebase. The latest Bedrock Edition version is 1.18.2.
Although all Bedrock editions are nearly identical, the price[note 1] varies depending on the platform. The Android version costs US$7.49 (£5.41), while the iOS/iPadOS and Fire versions cost US$6.99 (£5.05). The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions cost US$19.99 (£14.45). The Windows version costs US$26.99 (£19.51), and the Nintendo Switch version is the most expensive, costing US$29.99 (£21.68). DLC purchased from the Marketplace on one platform is usable on all other platforms, but the game itself is sold separately on each platform. Xbox Live achievements are not shared between platforms and buying the game on one of these platforms does not get the game on the others. The Xbox One and Windows versions are also playable to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers respectively, with both versions playble to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 respectively via backward compatibility. As with all other versions of Minecraft, updates are free of charge. On Windows, the game can be launched via the Minecraft Launcher.

The problem with the Bedrock Edition version is that the anvils, the item frames ... all the blocks that don't make a whole block don't make very much sense.

I think high render distance is based on how much ur ram but yeah bedrock can render more chunks without losing too much fps compared to java

@User shut up, bedrock has better servers, have you tried 'Hive, Mineplex, Nether Games, Cubecraft, Pixel Paradise and galaxite. On top of that, bedrock has better features, better gameplay, more cross platform, you java users have to buy servers to play with ur friends, but bedrock edition has the option of inviting people into worlds, We can just 1 click to add mods, but it isnt called mods, its called resource packs and behaviour packs, you just need to click once, and hacking bedrock edition is extreme hard

You got this completely wrong. Armor stands in java are still entity's, they are just impervious to most damage. This is backed up by the fact you can summon them and /kill them.

About the skeleton horse: In java you can't ride a summoned or a egg spawned skeleton horse, but if you find a natural skeleton horse, it will do the skeleton warriors thing, these horses you can ride

Fun fact: Some of Java's features were Bugs that were just made into features because the communiy wanted to Bedrock has a lot of bugs yes. But its no different to Java and some are just minor bugs and not really game breaking unlike on Java, instead of fixing them. They were made into features. Example: Crawling

Those details do make a difference, I have played in the Java version for years but when I move to Bedrock if I experience better gameplay. Bedrock is better in most aspects of the game and with the fact that it is cross-platform it is a bit superior. If you are looking for quality mods I recommend Java. In my case I prefer the Bedrock👌

The tnt with sand actually work on bedrock it just depends on what version because in newer its patch up thats maybe you're using but in older like 1.14 or 1.16 it work i tried it😄

But since its gonna break so manyy farms in java and people relay on door so much underwater, they decided to only fixed it on bedrock. Door used to create air pocket too on bedrock but then fixed during aquatic update

Well, the mobs not crossing rails is a feature for now, and the mobs in java are smarter at some points, such as, skeleton dodging arrows and mobs when lit, tries to find nearest water sourse

when he was breeding the animals, that reminds me. on bedrock when a baby animal is born. you can feed it 10 times and it will grow into an adult. on java, feeding the baby takes off 10% of the remaining time until it grows into an adult. you can't just feed it until it grows. also, on bedrock, you can breed adult animals again after 1 minute, and on java, you can breed adults again after 5 minutes.

Nope, its just rail that make piglin cant cross it. In java mobs ran to water source when got burn and skeleton can dodge attack and arrow (they know where you are aiming)

If he has good pc bedrock edition let's him and only simulates 4 chunks by default

And some pc can get upto 100+ chunks because bedrock edition is optimised so much but only 4 chunks will work by default after works creation you can change that in settings called simulation distance Java also introduced it, that low end pc can somewhat handle 1.18+ but Java has more simulation distance but not yet optimised like Bedrock one.
