जब की ये फ़िल्म है तब पैदा भी नहीं हुआ था लेकिन इस गाने के संगीत और डान्स की कितनी भी तारीफ करूँ कम है। आज के डांसर्स इस डांसर के मुकाबले कहीं नहीं ठहरते। बहुत ही सुंदर गीत, संगीत और नृत्य, वाह!

Nagina Awaara Parde ke peechhe(after her retirement) It is said that when they approach her to sing just one song for the movie Awaara, she was going too busy at that time that she was unable to sing for them. So both of them came to Shamshad Begum's house early morning and then rehearsed with her before she could leave her house for other prebooked recording schedules. After few days of mornings continuously like this, the song of the film awaara EK DO TEEN was finally recorded in her house.

Just think we still love this singer and the dancer is adorable. Do you know the dancer's name? They gave everything to make these movies click but rarely got their share of the money or in Cuckoo's case fame. Shamshad Begum died in abject poverty. If every viewer who has seen this song has sent her 1 rupee she would have been a multi millionaire. Not very encouraging for artists, right?
