you can see how alike enzo is to numa and matias is to roberto numa was described to be rlly quiet and reserved which enzo was like this whole interview and roberto was described as stubborn and he would do alot of the talking and decision making which matias was doing during this interview and he was said to be stubborn like roberto. AMAZING casting choices, i dont think anyone could do better!

Man, the story Enzo tells at 10:00 minutes in. Warms my heart and breaks it at the same time. This story has had a hold over me for many, many years, and I'm so happy Numa got a voice.

As someone who has been with this story since 1976 after reading Piers Paul Read's book. Then through the horrible "Survive" from 1976, then to Hollywood trying to interpret what is largely a story American actors refused to allow themselves to embrace, "Society of the Snow" is an emotional accomplishment on a scale I don't think I understand quite yet. The performances by Enzo, Matias, Agustin, and the rest were nothing short of brilliant. Bayona's directing was so beautiful, and the time and dedication it took to bring this to life is in every single frame of the film. After all the books and documentaries I've experienced with this story, I don't think I've seen the men of this story told quite like this. I felt I was up there in The Valley of Tears with them. I felt each and every single beat with my heart. Thank you all for such an incredible film. It was so needed. As for the Spanish language. I'm English Canadian. For me I need the spice in my life. The accents from the actors put me there. Their dedication put me there. For the run of the film I was transfixed. Thank you for such an impactful film full of heart.

What an amazing interview with such depth and sensitivity by all. Hats off to Javier who asks all the right questions, analyses it correctly and shuts up completely when others are deep into it and jumps back only to move the conversation furthur. A lessor for all to learn on how to interview and be a moderator at the same time. Love from India!

What a wonderful conversation. You can see it in the film, and here too, how much love and respect there is for the survivors and those who died, and 100% dedication in telling the story right. You can even tell Javier has the utmost respect for the actors and Bayona and the finished project.

This film is very insane because it makes you think you ARE IN THE PLANE. IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Its insane that it makes you transport your whole being to 1972. Qué bonitas todas las conexiones entre Matias y Canessa

Una conversación magistral sobre una obra maestra, hace tanto tiempo que necesitábamos algo así de grande, de bello, de profundo . Por fin hablan de la escena cuando Canessa entierra el calcetín con los trozos de carne que llevaban para sobrevivir la expedición, no tengo palabras. Gracias infinitas J.Bayona y compañía por conmovernos a este nivel 🩷.

TODOS lo hicieron maravilloso, la historia real es realmente impresionante y realmente admirable, pero aparte de la historia como tal La Sociedad de la Nieve es una OBRA DE ARTE total, tiene todo, me encanta, tanto que ya la voy viendo 5 veces. Wao, me alegra tanto esto, es un avance tan bueno para los hispanohablantes y mis repetos a Juan Antonio Bayona, los actores y todos los que estan detras de la producción, hivieron un maravilloso trabajo.

Que gran equipo que se ha armado Bayona, cada uno con su peculiaridad y su personalidad tan marcada, tal como hemos visto a los sobrevivientes! Que ojo para elegir el cast y que delicia escuchar conversar (con un grande como Bardem moderando) de una forma tan personal como si estuvieran al lado del sofá en tu sala. Such an incredible film! First heard about this story when I started getting into rugby years ago, but never watched Alive because of accuracy/respect complaints. This film never felt voyeuristic or exploitative; it was evident throughout that it was a tribute to both victims and survivors. Casting, makeup, storyboard, etc. were all amazing throughout. And yes, big-budget studios, I'd much rather read subtitles than force things into Americanisms.

A mí me sorprendió la interpretación de Roberto y Nando, su liderazgo no hablado, su determinación de llegar a Chile a pesar de haber visto la cordillera cuando esperaban ver Chile, por sus miradas volví a ver la peli y en esa segunda vez Numa me hizo llorar y por él me estoy viendo documentales. Encantadora, debió pelear por mejor película (no sólo extranjera) y nominar a alguno de los actores (Enzo o Matías quizá) y mejor director y producción para J.

esta película no es paa todos los públicos, por qué la gente mayor como no toda por supuesto, pero mucha gente mayor se basa en sus experiencias ya vividas y que tienen una edad,en sus experiencias no son capaces de pensar desde la edad que tenían estos personas la temperatura las circunstancias y el error de dónde creían que estaban, no se ponen en el lugar en comprender que unos jóvenes piensen que tienen toda la vida por delante, piensan en su edad y que están en esa situación y lo unico que hacen es señalar, y corregid constantemente que es lo que hubiesen hecho ellos pero claro desde el sofá de su casa y desde su edad. es increíble cómo les comentarios de gente joven que se nota mucho son muchísimo más inteligentes esos comentarios y se basan en la realidad y con todos respeto lo hacen muchísimo mejor que las personas mayores, qué tienen experiencia de la vida pero no en este caso y como saben que pueden opinar libremente como no... no dicen más que barbaridades y lo unico que hacen es señalar y sacar los defectos de cada protagonista. cuando uno se hace mayor y opina debería de pasar minutos incluso días antes de opinar basándose y buscando información y formación de lo que no tienen ni idea. si esta gente mayor qué opina qué lo ve de una perspectiva desde la edad que tienen desde desde luego si hubiesen tenido el mismo accidente y hubiesen sobrevivido en lo que es en el primer accidente del avión desde luego que con su negatividad de verse mayores hubieran deprimido a todo el equipo. qué manía tiene la gente mayor de hablar desde sus experiencias y no ponerse en el lugar de esas personas que tenían esa edad y esas circunstancias, la gente mayor es savia pero que hablen cuando tengan que hablar y queden consejos cuando los tengan que dar porque tienen la malísima manía innevasta manía de opinar y comentar desde el. de vista desde que ya lo saben todo en la vida o creen que lo saben todo la vida y nadie lo sabe todo en la vida. por favor personas que se callen. lo más valioso de esos jóvenes es que no tenían experiencia en ser pícaros no tenían experiencia la parte peor que tiene el ser humano no tenían experiencia para hacerse el mal los unos a los otros a los otros así que como no tenían experiencia en eso salió su esencia natural hicieron entre unos a otros lo que hicieron es hacer el bien entre unos y otros.

la pelicula está muy bien hecha y resuelta, pero no se puede comparar con lo real de lo que paso.... desde los olores, el frio tremebundo qe han pasado los sobrevivientes, los sentimientos de cada uno con las perdidas, no saber donde están en el universo, no tener comida caliente, ni ropa para el frio mortal de esas montañas que son peores de en donde se grabo ........

Que desafortunado el comentario final donde Barden reconoce a la producción de Argentina y España dejando de lado a Uruguay, me encanta que posterior a eso Enzo posiciona como Uruguay considera que esta historia les pertenece y es verdad, Uruguay es parte importante de esto, él es uruguayo y en un mejor escenario todos habrían sido uruguayos. No puedo evitar cuestionar el auge que a veces se da a España por esta película, entiendo que la producción y director español, sin embargo, en esa necesidad de reconocimiento de España a veces se pierde el reconocimiento que también amerita Uruguay, "la tragedia" o "milagro" la vivió uruguay, los sobrevivientes son uruguayos, y evidentemente hay muchísimo talento en Uruguay, lo vemos en Enzo y esta película. Simplemente la forma en la que se expresó al final fue equivocada.
