Jawbox is probably one of the most important DC post-hardcore punk bands in the history of punk after Fugazi... I mean, shit, look them playing a song like this on major network TV. we're never going to be blessed with such great music on national TV, ever. ever. and this isn't even their best song...!

mike.choi jawbox has changed my fucking life. their music is beyond amazing. i grew up in the wrong era, I'm one of the only people I know that listens to discord stuff. jawbox, fugazi, rites of spring, I cant get enough!

Always enjoyed Jawbox as well... But a lot of great music was on Conan, Kimmel, Letterman etc… back in the day. I remember seeing Shudder to Think on a couple late night shows. I was always a much bigger fan of Soulside, and they even got on Conan several years later in GvsB

Bill is intense as usual, Kim is as beautiful as ever wielding that bass that is bigger than she is, Zach is concentrating on killing it, and J is leading them into The Zone where great performances happen. I can't count the number of times I've listened to this version. I only wish "Chinese Fork Tie" was a warm-up that had been recorded for this gig!

I saw them on this tour in Ruston, Louisiana. Seeing Zach live .... geez, the guy was a force of nature. Very cool people as well.

Here I am watching a bunch of my old DC friends "Jawbox" videos in preparation for their 2020 show in Richmond VA tomorrow night. This is gonna be fun. P.S could Conan come off any nerdier as if he's introducing a band at his high school talent show hahaha
