I would love it for the first week and get utterly board of this, I hope they have a rotation of other people doing it... and I mean obviously I they do but I mean like maybe next day this guy is nowhere near this ride and he’s doing something else until weeks later he comes back to this... because I think it would keep their sanity 🤣

@@ShadowSonic2a small shark could swim around. Nothing big could but there are some really small sharks that can swim in shallow water. I don’t know if they can be in freshwater. Which I highly doubt there in salt water. If they were tho. I believe u could fit a tiny shark in there.

It might look cheesy from the ride perspective, but imagine actually swimming in that water, and what if you weren’t aware it was part of a ride… seeing those things even completely still, even knowing they’re just animatronic, I’d want to die. Beyond terrifying.

The good ol’ days of animatronics. Always remember the explosion that was about 100 feet away and the heat was so intense. That was a cool ride, so was “Earthquake”.. Now everything is a 3D movie while being swung around on a hydraulic chair contraption.

Damn ikr, I also loved the dedicated acting from the workers. I think my family and I went on the Jaws ride two times. I loved the last guy, he was funny and really into his role. I hope he's doing well nowadays.

@@LocketInThinePocket the sad part is, they’re even removing actors now. “King Kong” at Universal is all automated. The bus is a totally autonomous ride where the bus drives VIA a set path controlled by GPS while a lifelike Animatronic driver takes you on the journey from one giant 3D theatre to the next. It’s amazing but completely autonomous.

That actually happened to a dude once. He fell in to a deeper area of the track where the secondary shark and electronics were stored. The sharks track was where he fell in and so it “swam” towards him. He also had kids so they thought that the shark was gonna eat him

Im not expert in animatronics but i think the robot shark only moves on rails and its mostly operated with pressure air pistons that are automatically controlled from the surface. Only electric parts are the sensors that trigger the shark when a boat moves close to it and when it reaches its destination then just gives signal to stop the shark and move back to starting point. Nowadays sensors, electric motors and cables are capable of being underwater. If you put cable whose wires are exposed then the electricity can shock in the water same goes with heaters like toaster or hair dryer because in those machines the heater resistors arent covered in plastic or other non leading material because the cover would just melt off

I’ll never forget when we where on that ride and a thunderstorm came out nowhere you couldn’t see 2 feet in front of you everyone was freaking out about the lighting dancing around us and the sharks popping up it’s an automatic ride so we had to go though it’s not like you can just get out .... that was pretty wild
