It’s honestly really hard to believe that Jay B is an idol especially at times like this. He seems like an old man in the respect that he’s so wise, genuinely tries to listen to people and help them, be original in his music and try to accomplish something with his life. Compared to me, he really has his life together even if he doubts it at times. I’m glad Got7 has such a well-meaning leader and I hope he does everything he wants to in life! I literally got goosebumps listening to jayb’s ghost story! He really has a way of telling stories, maybe that is why he is so good at producing songs and writing lyrics. He knows how to tell a story! I feel like i can listen to Jayb talking for hours. Sometimes i dont even read subtitles and just listen to his voice!

The things JayB says, is really like motivational speech on itself! I mean.. He just says what he feels.. Even get worried that people may think it's not genuine. When he says the most genuine, honest, raw things ever. Even though he says he is careful with his words, BFF just naturally says the most insightful and meaningful things about life.

JayB: I don't think I am an extrovert. also JayB: I can talk a lot; I want to appear more on TV shows, I want to be seen. 😂 i've been a fan of got7 for a few years and he sure did change from an introvert to an extrovert, but he still is the same thoughtful, intelligent, down to earth, funny and great artist that he always was. so good to see him happy like this! truly inspiring 😊

I really just love him - JayB/ Jaebeom Lim as a human being. He is always straightforward and tries to be absolutely sincere in everything. He is by no means perfect, but pretty close to my ideal of a very decent human being. I'm so very proud of how far he has come in his psyche and in his professional life. What I love about jay b he never brags about anything. He didn't say he do this perfectly at all. He always say he was afraid how could he do that. He didn't understand but slowly trying to understand all things. He always say how he actually felt in that situation.

I recommend for anyone who unable to talk to others in their life about hardships to check out this app. I joined for JAY B, but slowly over time I'm curious to check out the other artists on the app. Nice to watch/listen to their stories and what suggestions they offer. As a fan, it comforted me with the words of encouragement he gave, but calmed me as well to see his positivity. Those whom been fans for years will understand this part better from the old JAY B to current JAY B... We see it already with how happy, genuinely, he been, but hearing confirmation was different for me as no need to guess or assume. The series was not as scary as the list shown. jay b is so mature & intelligent i love him

Jay B is even funnier, more comfortable and confident this time with Eric and the staff. Love how he made Eric and the staff laugh so many times lol. His sincerity, honesty and being such a humble, down to earth person is his one of the biggest unique charms and I love that both Eric and Jaebeom know and appreciate that. But because Jaebeom always tends to be too humble I'm glad that at least Eric told him that he's good enough and even better. THANK YOU ERIC, YOU BETTER TELL HIM. And of course I've always loved how I can relate to Jaebeom on a personal level, like I've always felt a deep connection with him and this time too he said so many relatable things which are so simple but the way he is telling stories is so entertaining and fun to watch. He can literally talk for hours about some simple everyday stuff and I will be the one who listens to it even without subs. I love to see him so talkative. So proud of him.

I hard relate to Jay B @22:00 when he said he’s not the type to say shallow small talk pleasantries like “oh, that must have been really difficult/fun!” when his friends share their troubles, but offers advice only for them to complain they don’t want a solution and so he now forces out those small-back pleasantries 😂 those of us who are like that would want friends to offer advice if we’re stuck or struggling and so it’s like ‘oh, why wouldn’t you want that too?’ Learning that friends want to hear ‘oh, that’s difficult/how fun’ is distinctly a life lesson that comes from transitioning into adulthood. One thing that came across during this interview was how often Jaebeom said “is this ok to do/say?” including about Mindset. Every topic/subject was totally fine (I was enjoying listening to that part!) and you’re free from JYP so if not now then when? It’s sad that idols still have to be so cautious even after leaving their labels. I think fans need to change if we’re to see our fave artists live and work without second-guessing everything, while being open & reflective like he is on here & on Mindset. It must be so stifling for them to have to think about every public remark, every sentence, or even private act without the same degree of carelessness or frankness us private citizens (and even western artists/celebs) are afforded. Can so see Jay B doing a D’Angelo Cruisin’ or Justin Timberlake style 20/20 album, but didn’t expect the Green Day reference which was cool. I like both Eric & Jay B, but Eric def didn’t know what to do whenever Jay B was sincere, serious & went into something even an inch deep, like what happens after death, religion & spirituality etc. It’s these topics and moments that humanise idols so that they’re not just ‘idols’, like marble museum pieces we project our own ideas & views on. That left Jay B to carry the interview, when it should be the interviewer. It could have been extra awkward and unnatural if Jay B wasn’t attuned to Eric’s awkward responses and didn’t revert back to talking about light, fun stuff again. I hope Eric gets better at it driving the interview & responding to different degrees of seriousness/expression with more experience. The sound was fine btw - thank you for the subs, it makes a difference!

I think the thing as ahgases we know is that our leader JayB has always been relatively logic forward and a introspective person, the way he tries to find and provide practical solutions show how much of a great problem solver he truly is but to see him show his vulnerability finally after all these years really is a great reminder that everyone is really just a kid at heart, he was lost as an individual and a leader throughout his time in GOT7 and thats a lotta pressure, even Nickhun (2PM) and Eric mentioned that in reality JayB comes across as a bit misunderstood at times but really hes just a kid learning to be an adult and that we should all learn to be kinder to ourselves. Guys JayB is having a domestic concert soon and there are tickets left! we should really all try and support him as much as we can after everything hes done for his team GOT7 and us ahgases!

Omg, this interview is so enlightening. JAY B has a very interesting personality...he takes things very seriously and answers with careful thought and consideration. I was thinking that he could be an annoying partner because sometimes you just want to offload your problems and have someone say 'there, there' and offer you a cup of tea and he's a real Mr Fix-it however what an amazing man, he realised he had an annoying habit and changed it asap. I am in awe...not many people are willing to acknowledge their faults!!! He probably developed Mr Fix It tendencies as GOT7's leader when he would have been called upon to resolve problems for the members and between the members!

The more I listen to Jay B the more I like him, he is not only a great artist but also a really humble and down to Earth person and he is so funny !!! The way he sees life and tell stories is very unique and make him even more interesting, you can listen to him for hours without feeling bored. Eric is a great interviewer too, he lets his guests speak, the conversation just flows naturally from one subject to another and you can feel that he is geniunely interested in his guest, I've just rewatched the other day an old video of Got7 first win in a music show, with some members crying and Eric Nam was there congratulating them and comforting them it's just so wholesome to see how far Got7, JayB and Eric Nam have come since then, and despite that they are just so chill.

I love it when Jay B and Eric Nam are together on this show. They are friends and it shows every time. Jay B is such an amazing talented intelligent funny kind man.
