you do right about “famous because of the singer” thing…Jay chou is famous enough，so I don't have to mention it any more…the one who play guitar is ashin（阿信），the lead singer of asian most famous band called mayday（五月天）… their corporation in this mv is something like corporation of Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury in chinese music industry…this mv title never mention ashin at the first few hour just because they want to give a big surprise to their fans…

Grass Jelly is the name of the MV production team 仙草. The other guy is lead singer/song writer Ashin from Mayday, Taiwan's national band.

I don't get how anyone can not know who Jay Chou is. I'm a white American, I can't speak Mandarin, and I've been one of his biggest fans since 2004. He's like the Beatles of Taiwan and pretty much every Mandarin speaking country. Not only that but he composes all of the music he sings, plays piano, has a unique style where he mixes classical music with rap. Yes he's 40 years old but his style is so unique that he can't really be replaced by anyone younger. And he's not the typical pop star, he's a musician, so he's not know for his looks. You don't have to be young to keep making brilliant music. I hope he keeps making albums until he's 60.

As a Jay Chou fans, I have to say that this song is just one of his most common works. You can go and listen to him: in the name of the Father. A godpiece more than ten years ago. He can be said to be the collective memory of China's post-90s youth.

In the past, Taiwan had very well entertainment industry also famous across whole Asia.but then China become stronger and stronger many Taiwanese famous artist move their main career to China. China's show have a large scale so that make them to be more famous. Of course there are some new talented Taiwanese Artist as well but for now not much people paying attention to Taiwan's entertainment industry. I think that's the whole reason.
