I disliked this because the flag is not shown. The General lee looks naked without it. Good or bad, you can never erase history. It happened, good or bad. We should be reminded of the wrong doings in our past so we do not repeat them in the future.

My only connection to the confederate flag is on the roof of the General Lee. The car looks neutered without it. Lame.

That flag makes The General Lee, The General Lee. I'm 16 years old and have watched Season 1 - Season 7 of The Dukes of Hazzard it is one of THE BEST SERIES EVER. My dream car is The General Lee.

The two things I don't like is that they use a 2019 Dodge Charger to chase after the old charger, Should have used the 1975 Dodge Monaco instead. Also the flag is missing of the General Lee, that is just not right.

1:15, that jump he did through that barn was insane. I remember watching that on tv, the car must have been 40-50 feet up in the air when it was flying through the barn. Dukes of Hazzard one of the best tv(family) shows ever, no matter what the critics say.

In the series they only once referred to the flag. They called it the rebel flag. That is what they considered it back at that time.

I learned a few things today. 1... you can buy body panels to change a crown-vic into a mopar. 2... stunt drivers don't always wear full protective gear. 3... if you play a car jump in slow-mo you can tell the audience it really was 90 mph! (and they wont question it)

When American soldiers came back home after defeating the Nazis, they came back with all sorts of trophies and souvenirs like blitzkrieg helmets and iron crosses. These soldiers became bikers and those helmets and crosses became symbols of Rebel culture adopted by bikers, punkers and skateboarders. The Confederate Flag is just a symbol of good ol boys rebelling against authority. If you see anything else, I'm pretty sure you are just looking for an argument. Dukes of Hazzard was as wholesome a family tv show as you'll ever find.

I hit LA in 79, 4th of July. Cousin worked "Chip's", and lived near "Duke's" stunt filming location. He intro'd me to transpo coordinators of both shows/studios in Studio City. Between August 1st and end of "Duke's" series, I bought 86 Chargers for the WB shop, for complete cars and parts. Stuntmen wanted 383 and 440 cars, and Shop wanted bodies to swap big blocks into. Sometimes 3 a week, to keep up. Rest of cars from older shows (Adam 12, etc.), Chip's, Hardcastle, and S+H. Used on both shows.

On a weekend off from pre SAS Signals Sqn selection in TA reserves . I have served 3 times, SAS signals the 3rd time 02 to 04, (1988 ay 16 yrs old as Jnr Ldrs Royal Artillery. I had a serious Achilles tendon Injury, so came out in Oct, 88, and reinlisted into Regular Army in June 89. By the time I completed various tests to rejoin, I started my 2 time in the Army on 3rd Jan 1990, 11 days before my 18th birthday. I joined the Royal Corps of Transport 'RCT' Maritime and served 3 great yrs on Army Landing Craft, Mexeflote rafts, Tugs, LCVPS, small fast patrol boats etc. Where I think the issues first started, whilst at sea on flat bottom boats). I lost everything in 06, declared homeless bankrupt the lot, a very long an going nightmare story. I have no medals or combat, as bad timing, or just nature of my military roles, meant never went. Wanted to though. As lost friends in combat etc. But My only vice is cars. I've had 35 since driving. My favs are my 7 vw golf gtis and 9 bmws. Not big budget, as struggle on disability. I almost died in Nov 2018. My dream car is now the M4 Competition Pack, it was the E36, E46, E92/E93 M3. But when they made the 4 series to take over the mantel of a coupe/convertible M car. It is basically an M3 but not M4. I love the M5 also. Being that I'm a disabled veteran, unable to ever work again, a fool can dream lol. as I'll never work again. I had E90 330i in Feb 2017. Loved it. Upgraded to 08 E92 335i Feb 2018. I never should have sold that black E92 335i Msport bmw in Nov 2018. Altjough I got my E93 Le mans blue 335i convertible. It all went wrong. I almost died Nov2019 , I have a broken back disability OCD PTSD and traits of Aspergers, stress, anxiety, depression. Which pain alone for those are bad enough. Let alone the extra on top isxues of Possible Gallstone, huge Abcess under my jaw, causing 4 teeth needing surgerical removing, Borderline Thoirid issue, left hip (out of joint), and right knee totally gone, making body out of position. Bogh needing replacement. All that pain whilst chatting with you yesterday lol. Have uocoming consultations, but Covid Lockdown put All on hold. So I wanted to cheer myself up. By buying my dream le mans blue E93 335i on 07. Bad car, had to sell Feb, buy downsize car (not that an E60 530i msport is a downsize. Its a bigger car. I meant engine. 530i is 258bhp 0 to 60 in 6.7 secs still quick. But that Black E92 335i was remapped to 370bhp 500nm 0to60 in 4.4secs. Thats craxy supercar speeds for under £8000. The blue one same spec but 4.8secs. Insane for convertible. The first E60 530i I got was 2005 E60 530i early 231bhp model after the blue one in Feb 2019. Nice car for few years downsize. That was worse than Blue one. So got later facelift 05 model with 258bhp. That is same spec as my 06 graphite grey E90 330i Msport Steptronic I sold in Feb 2018 to get dream E92 335i. I didnt want to feel like going backwards, and buy another E90 330i. The 5 series is the same engine, but bigger than 3 series. Also the 3 series is a few years behind the 5 series in extras. So I got same spec as 06 E90 on a 05 E60. Couldn't find an E92 3ltr 325 or 330i msport. So got that E60 530i. Brake pads and 2 sensors needed doing. The dealer heard my bad luck situation, and dropped £700 off (So no warranty sold). Other than that it was nice. I did less than 550 ish miles, and sold day before Covid lockdown. Went from 8000 budget to £1900. Absolutely gutted. Spent a lot to buy food, but bank gave me loan holiday 6 months. So saving. I'm at £2,600, and rising. Ill be in range by sept. I can get either E92/E93 330i or mk2 Audi TT 3.2 dsg (if my health allows me to fit in one) Then in 4 to 6 yrs, top loan up, to get either last shape E92/E93 335i, or first shape 428, 430, 435 coupe. Or 130i hatch or 135i coupe on 06 to 09, or M135i.
