It's okay to cry during something like this. I cried watching a memorial tribute of Michael Clarke Duncan at work and many us watching all started crying. It was just like watching the green mile again.

If you all started crying together, sorry but that's kinda gay 🤣🤣🤣

Michael Clarke Duncan - a fantastic role model - he was happy no matter what. He believed in himself. He knew where he was going and he got there.

For anyone to say this was fake emotions.. 1st off he didnt even have to be there. But true respect was there because he was there an spoke his heart n git choked up wit emotions. Just like tom hanks, his pain was humor.

@Dach He hosted the Fathers' Day Event in San Pedro for years at Century Motorcycles! He was always kind, down to earth, and loved just being around ordinary people when he wasn't busy doing comedy, working on his beloved cars etc.He did not get paid to be there. He got along well with Cindy Rutherford who owned the Century then. Her Father was into Boxing I think, but I know her Father was in early motorcycle racing. You just don't really know Jay Lenos' character very much.He is a decent guy!

@Dach I don't think Jay would have missed the extra ratings in his bank account had he not went to the funeral.

Well it could be the shock and denial stage of grieving. Some people don’t really cry until weeks after and then that’s when it hits them that the person is gone. When someone passes there is the funeral to distract their thoughts but once that person is by themselves they then start to realize that their loved one is gone

Michael in his personal life and movies was a wonderful, kind loving person. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes because we all have lost a great actor who could make you smile as soon as you saw him. That big wide wonderful smile and laughter will be sadly missed. God bless his family.

My husband always asks me why I watch sad and depressing movies, tv shows, etc. I always tell him it is so I appreciate all that God has given me and so when the kids do something stupid tomorrow, I won’t flip out but explain it to them and realize what they did wasn’t so bad and that I am lucky to have them. It makes me appreciate life!

I am shocked that this amazing actor and man died so young. I am very saddened. I first saw Michael Clarke Duncan in Steven Kings movie adaptation, "The Green Mile" and it drew me to tears. That movie will drive a man to tears and it's not really for a woman to see, as I am one. Very moving book and movie. Michaels performance made him who he was today. I think we all will see him as John Coffey, that's what brought his true self to life. Please, see that movie and be moved and remember Michael.

I like Jay Leno. When Flip WIlson died there was hardly a mention of it. On the Tonight Show, Jay Leno announced it and said 'when you go to sleep tonight, say a prayer for Flip Wilson'. He was in tears and choked up when he gave the sign off to a commercial. Never forgot that.
