I love how Jay takes care of his team and the people walking with him. He’s all about his family, his crew. I love him 💜 lots of integrity, lots is character. I’m insanely proud of him. I wish the interviewer had asked more about his accomplishments and his music and what he wants to say with his music, what his vision is but this won’t be the last we hear of Jay in these interviews so it’ll only get better for him.

"Nah, I don't really act like that" *Acted in a whole movie and was a regular cast member of SNL Korea* Okay Jay ;) So excited about all the projects that are coming out, especially new music from Phe REDS

It's weird how this radio dude doesn't acknowledge anyone Jay brought with him before he proceeded to ask him questions. Just rude to his guests.
@fjrfathurahman6 жыл бұрын
Babytwix143 maybe they have their own sessions because he said that the station's gonna get in touch with them so as long as they poppin they got platform in kube stations, and also a group like A$AP gonna do it too if the one that the station wants was Rocky, but A$AP Mob will come too, so it's not a rude thing

Usually in American rap radio interviews, rappers always bring a crew or a squad to be in the video and just simply have some exposure. The important part is just making the connect before they actually interview the people. What's the point in interviewing someone that people don't really know?

Honestly the interview was lowkey Wack. He was asking so many irrelevant and ignorant questions about kpop and restrictions about boy groups. He didn’t even bother so let cha cha and the other guys have chairs to sit on, which in my opinion seems unprofessional, like you should be treating the quest and his team right. Jay is an amazing and talented artist that deserves to be interviewed with a interviewer that has at least done some research and knows what to ask the artists. Feel like these American radio host and whatnot don’t even bother to do some research about jay or even look up some of his other amazing tracks, it’s like they invite him over and ask ignorant and annoying questions about kpop and korea. Jay can’t be sitting there and speak for a whole genre of music and their work ethics in groups, like jay got his own style and views and can’t speak for everyone so I just wish they would ask more into his work. Ps. Sorry for this quite long comment and don’t drag me if my gramma is off. English isn’t my first or second language but a self-taught language

Compared to a lot of other interviewers, this guy definitely did his research and actually watched at least some of the other interviews. It's kind of hard for him to do his research when he's just heard of Jay and probably/most likely doesn't speak Korean.

Cha cha and the others are not signed to Roc, Jay is. Listeners don't care about people they never heard of. Just as you are complaining about the host asking about K-pop why should he ask about people Not signed to Roc Nation? Roc is promoting Jay with these interviews not Jay and his crew. Rude? No! It's called business and Jay is the artist. How do you think that would look to Roc Nation if they are sitting there interviewing irrelevant people? Leave your Korean business expectations in Korea. Don't mean to sound harsh but the complaining from k hip hop fans is getting old. This is the U.S., not Korea. Also, no one should drag you for your English and props to you for teaching yourself.
@AteezheadlinesMAWAZINE6 жыл бұрын
Jay Lim I don't mean to sound rude. Cha-cha is a big part of the Korean scene with Jay as well as the rest of his crew but in the U.S. they are irrelevant. They are not signed to Roc. If Jay has them on this CD and those particular songs take off here, then the host will indeed interview them because they are relevant then. I'm slightly pissed with the host because I live in Washington state and I txt Cube for years trying to get them to play Jay. I can't get too mad because they rarely pitch an unknown.

Damn I was looking for a fellow Seattleite. Yeah, I agree. Seattle is a proud city and the only truly main stream artist to rep us is Macklemore, who is bomb af, but like its so awesome to see other's starting to make names for themselves
@bambambooyaaj62396 жыл бұрын
They always be having the wrong guy asking the wrong questions. Jay Park's best talent is noticing other talents. His crew is his talent. You're missing the big picture man. JS, you asking questions all his fans already knew and what the new fans don't want to know.
@bambambooyaaj62396 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't you think that's why they signed Jay to Roc because they knew his talents and background already? You don't sign someone without researching about them. This guy isn't asking what he's going to bring to the table. Why interview when the interview isn't even about Roc or AOMG. Just some generalized curiosity questions are thrown at Jay.
@AteezheadlinesMAWAZINE6 жыл бұрын
BamBamBoo Yaaj Of course they know his background, the scouter went to his show. Your comment was about his crew and my point was Jay is the focus, not his crew. Do you think Roc is setting up interviews for his crew to be focused on? No, they want his songs to get radio play. Jay was chosen because he built his own fan following and brand from scratch. They are aware of what that entails. That doesn't mean his crew is relevant to Roc Nation. If they were interested they could've co-signed his label so that those artists would be under their umbrella. They didn't.

@AteezheadlinesMAWAZINE6 жыл бұрын
Tae P Do. You guys not understand that Roc Nation sets up the interviews for Jay as he is their artist? That would be awkward for the host to sit and interview artists that have no U.S. label nor music in our market. Roc is not promoting his crew. They are trying to help their artist become successful. It is Jay's job to promote his own crew on his own time, not Roc Nations.
