2 жыл бұрынBenson (Mariska Hargitay) has traveled into Chicago to help Voight and intelligence with a rape/murder case that is frighteningly similar to a case from New York a decade ago.
Season 02, Episode 20: 'The Number of Rats '
Benson calls in Fin (Ice-T) and Amaro (Danny Pino) to assist. The prime suspect, Yates is let go after rigorous questioning. He then requests a meeting with Lindsay and he warns of unintended consequences from what intelligence is doing.

Jay knows how dangerous cops could be if they want to. That is why he is anxious to protect his clueless brother who is only a doctor.

Jay is such a good brother to Will. Will is one of those people that needs someone to keep them out of trouble because he doesn't always see the dark side of things or understand that to some people that near enough is good enough.

So nice of Jay to protect Will like that. Will is a very sweet person but he's innocent and naive He can easily say something wrong without realizing

Cases aren't technically worked on for that long. If a case remains unsolved they'll call it a cold case. Investigation is only picked up again if there is reason to do so.

True, but at the same time Will is naive about the truth about cops. Even if he was saying the truth, cops can still somehow make you guilty. That's why Jay said "It doesn't matter! If they want to, they'll find another way to stitch you up" as in they will find something that will make you guilty.

@@senajabeen1076 I think Voight would make a nice exception for his detective's brother. So I don't think Jay was making any sense. Olivia doesn't even have the jurisdiction in Chicago where they are. They would just waste some time interrogating Will and he would be free to go without any problem. And Olivia doesn't treat any suspect brutally like Voight usually does. So Jay was overreacting and making Will (and himself as a cop) look bad for no reason.

@@rithvikmuthyalapati9754 Nothing would've happened to Will. Being Jay's brother was already beneficial. Voight wouldn't treat him as badly as he does with other suspects. He would give him the benefit of doubt and make sure he's safe. And Olivia had no jurisdiction to actually do anything. So Jay was overreacting and making Will (and himself) look bad. Also Olivia doesn't treat anyone as badly as Voight.

Depends on what you mean. If you're referring to the SVU episode that's part of the this crossover the episode is called ''Daydream Believer'' But if you mean if there's an old SVU episode from 10 years ago that covers the case Olivia mentions then there isn't one.

So..... self admittedly - she's been carrying it 10 years. So..... since will started working at chicago med and the killer reactivated. What about Jorge who just signed up to the meat factory illegally AND migrated ilegally as well. He started at his plant same day as will at chicago med. MAYBE - theres another friend she had who also came to chicago and started working on the same day as will and stranger Jorge "HMMMM. GOTTA BE WILL - THAT SNOTNOSED CLEAN BRAT" Edit: Also you would INSTANTLY be called out for a drug test if you seriously wanted me to write down where i was that night What substances are you taking that you think i remember where i was 10 years ago?
