If you did some research, you realize that Michael had several painful health issues he was dealing with for years and had to take powerful pain medication for them including the pain he still had in his head from the 1984 Pepsi commercial burn. He didn’t take meds to “get high.”

I think that this was huge, not just for Hip Hop and Rap, but for the entire Black community and America at large because the elders of the Black community dismissed Hip Hop and Rap as trash until the King himself dusted off and placed the world's trash on his mantle and this was the physical and spiritual blessing that catapulted rap and hip hop head and shoulders above all other forms of art, musical expression, and entertainment in general.

Kids will never understand today. Even in MJ low point in his career, he was phenomenal or admired among artist. Look what he accomplished with little technology MJ had and how he wondered people, and made fans. Only people alive in those years knew how phenomenal he was. Waiting on news for his news, watching music videos and album art over and over. Listening to his music daily and being inspired to make it as big or even half

Much respect to Ralph McDaniels for his ongoing professional efforts to the world of music. Back in the day he rescued the black community from hanging in the streets. For his show came on by 4 pm and the majority of kids ran home to watch Video music Box!. Facts and more facts. Bobby Brown, Al b. Sure, New Edition and Keith Sweat and Salt N PepA and Mc Lyte were often played on Video Music Box 🎶 🎶 will always be remembered and appreciated. Best wishes to your legacy.

It don’t matter how famous or successful you think you are, the media at the time may hype you up…….but when you in the presence at whiteness Michael Jackson, you are instantly humbled and know you ain’t that guy…..there can only be one. Even now the king has passed, he still remains the most known person on earth. Tribes in the middle of the Amazon jungle will have heard of Michael Jackson.
