I mean when you deep conscious that’s how you think, that’s why you here ppl say we’re all connected or that’s still my brother etc. You stop seeing a person for what they was or what they did & start to see them for who they are or trying to become no matter if it’s good or bad you’ll see it. And that’ll tell you who your real friends are, I can go on and on but you get my point that it basically teaches you how to grow as a person or being.

In order to be successful as he is. You have to be understanding and visualize yourself in other people's shoes. That's how you can broker deals where your happy and the other side is happy. Jay not only is successful himself. He's helped many others find success as well. He's who 50 cent wishes he was.

@@tonytooshort Jay is more successful than 50. Compare Rocawear to gunit clothing. That's a good summary of how both do business. 50 likes to start something but cannot retain quality and long term outlook. Jay on the other hand. When he invests into a project. He is fully committed.
@tonytooshort
@tonytooshort Жыл бұрын
@@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech brother, read carefully and properly. I NEVER said 50 was more successful, or a better investor. My point is you can't scoff at 50 cent as if he's some abject failure. The man is extremely successful and isn't even done with his career. As I said, he's ventured into a career in film making and even in that he's a HUGE success lol. It doesn't matter that Hov is 'more successful'. Arguably NOBODY is more successful then Jay Z in the rap game lmao so that's not really saying much. But of the people you could argue are at the top and closest to him, 50 Cent is DEFINITELY one of them.
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech Жыл бұрын
@@tonytooshort read my original comment and message carefully. I never stated 50 was not successful. I was pointing out that Jay is much more successful than 50. If 50 had the same ability as Jay when it came to dealing with people. He likely wouldn't have such publicized falling out with his own son. 50 is unstable mentality compared to Jay. JayZ doesn't really brag as much as 50 when it comes to his success. Jay talks to people often like he's on the same level. 50 often needs to remind everyone how he is better than them. He's got a massive ego.

I can relate to J-Z story. I'm from Jamaica and I worked in the tourism industry up until covid disrupted the industry. I take people around the island on a regular basis. & back in the days about 12-13 years ago when Jamaica was a bit unstable, I took some guest through what was considered to be the most volatile community in Jamaica back then... 'went in by accident'... when I got there I had a flat tire. I saw a group of men walking towards us. My heart was in my mouth I knew that they had to be packing & outsiders were not welcome/trusted. They had some of the Savagest face that one had ever seen. The entire community [women & children were all running over for the distribution of the spoils] one guy took command told everyone to "Backup! Backup!" Asked me a few questions, tasked two guys with unpacking every piece of luggage out of the back of the bus to assess the spear underneath the bus, changed the tire, repacked. While he gave me direction. He then called ahead & told us to have a good day. The guest tipped the guys.... All this while the guest had zero knowledge of our near death encounter. I said nothing to the tourguide or the guest. For those who knows TG [T-Gardens] before DuDus, The President was extradited, you'll know what I'm talking about. 😊

Jay really be on point when he talks about the psychology of men who grew up in rough areas. He breaks it down very well. That part about the man looking aggressive because he's putting his pride on the line to ask for an autograph is spot on. Very sad as well. It's like we're scared to be human.

@Lou Tha Writer that's because he grew up around that. He himself at one point in life had to do the same....posturing. He's on point because he lived it too. That used to happen to me all the time, people about got a heart attack when I was approaching, so one time ,I am approached by an old lady, which is very uncommon ,that never happened to me before, and she explained it to me how what people see in me could be very dangerous, because I scare people she said , I honestly didn't knew, but now I know ,and i do my best to avoid problems, I honestly didn't see myself that way, because my wife once mentioned something but she wasn't clear enough, and I just just shrugged it off... I guess she saw that I didn't believed her which I didn't.... That's how we fool ourselves , sometimes thinking that we've the right book cover...

age has a tendency to mellow a soul. We are lucky to again live in a time when real conversations can be had and recorded with the veteran makers of an artform that was synonymous with violence despite its brilliance. (real dialogue was nonexistent for many decades, only scripted questions by an impersonal interviewer). Hiphop was as much a renaissance as any and now the survivors of it can freely speak about their experiences.

Unfortunately, similar stories can be told about most black men-and women, that have grown up in the hood. In such an environment, one feels it necessary to walk around with a mug or a hardened expression, so that others won’t regard them as “sweet” or someone who can be “fucked” with. In reality, many of these individuals are actually the nicest and most down-to-earth you’ll ever meet; but you’ll never know because you were scared away by the intimidating glare.
