Vol.1 is the album that got people to take Jay-Z seriously and made us go back to listen to Reasonable Doubt. For that reason alone I consider Vol.1 as Jay-Z's best album

Vol 1 Jay best album. Where I'm from is Jay best song ever. Imaginary player, A million and streets is watching is some of Jay's best work. The only bad song in my opinion is I know what girls want.

I don't even know how Drake can be considered in the top 20 of hip Hop all his music sounds the same Jay is the number one greatest of all time because even to this day you can go and listen to his music did he make 10 years ago and find something relevant right now today

Reasonable Doubt is one of the greatest albums in music. Reasonable Doubt The Blueprint The Dynasty American Gangster Blueprint 3 Vol. 2 would be a lot of rappers best work. Jay gets graded with Jay lol. His "bad" work would be a lot of people's best. Yall super lost me with Renegade not being good or shouldn't have been on the album.

Too me Vol 2 is wack, it comes nowhere near Vol 1. Vol 2 is only highly rated because its Jays commercial breakout record.
