I think Blizzard made a really good decision with how hard Champion is to get. You could hear the fear in the Top500 comms, because they know to get this purple rank you gotta be next levels of cracked. Makes it mean something (unlike when everyone and their mother seemed to be able to get GM5 on a fresh account).

yes it was a great choice, as a top 500 player it made games feel so much more balanced, before i could be getting gm3 players in a top 500 lobby which just isnt fair game 1 and top 500 arent the same rank. gm3 could be unironically a 30+ game win streak away from top 500 with how the rank system worked. though tbh as well champion is 1000x easier to hit if you just get lucky on a fresh account, there are plenty of champion players that dont deserve it and could never hit that rank if they didnt get a lucky win streak on a fresh account. and if they played more they would derank (because even if you are 60% wr you will derank you gain like 12-16 and lose 20)

@@lostxnxyou you can maintain gm4/3 if you deserve it but to go higher you have to be either a top 10 player or get lucky with a fresh account. In high ranks only there are many examples of people getting stuck in gm4 hopping on fresh accounts with placement mmr and getting to gm2

@@beethepotato396 nah fr watching your gameplay made me think u at least mid gold low plat as far as aim. There was sometimes I peeped some overwhelmingness, but who doesn't have those. Try duo for rank up. In low elo a lot of the times can be team holding. Not to mention u were on cass too

@@fearlessayo ⁠ Aim isn’t everything. This is an objective-based team game, not Valorant or CS, where you can win by simply killing the other team instead of completing the objective.

After rank reset, not really, but there are good and weak players in every rank, this may have been one of the weaker players. The ranks are roughly equivalent until higher up, because a lot of t500 on console xim, so its like playing in pc lobby anyways without the contenders or owl players.

Did we just watch the same video? The plat was the first one that actually managed to stand his ground against the Top 500 and it was somewhat of a close game. I suppose you're the reason why you're plat.

You can also just see the difference between that moira and the next player who played tracer and soldier, who actually tried to control the point as well which was very much lacking by the moira

Control point is such a dumb mode for this experiment, even if the single player can kill a player, by the time they kill rest rest of the team, the next player will be back to contest point, they’d have to get consistent team wipes to even attempt to cap

Playing ana dva and zen is cringe are you serious?!?!?! All they needed was a sombra to complete the ultimate no fun game. The t500 players are playing to win not for fun. I would play Mauga ,Zarya, or Orisa if I was in his shoes. Fuck those guys
