Sivananda Daily Chant as recorded over several days in November / December 2005 at Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram, Neyyar Dam, Kerala, India. The chant does vary slightly from day to day and this version misses out several optional verses so may not correspond directly to the Sivananda chant book. The audio is of one daily chanting session with some short sections removed. The video was taken over several sessions, some morning, some evening. The video also contains a small amount of footage from around the ashram.
Lyrics with English Translations are included - use the captions function to activate.

I was in Sivananda Kerala ashram in 2012, and always regretted not having recorded those wonderful daily chants, so it is great to find this ! Transported me instantly to that amazing place, I loved to start and finish the day with those beautiful and uplifting chants! Besides, I loved the swami's voice, so powerful and energetic. I lived at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in London for a year in the 80s. I am so pleased to have found this. As I listen all the words are coming back to me.

I was there in 2011. This is such a treasure. Thankyou so much for sharing. Brought back such rich, warm, happy and fulfilling memories. I wish I could be in that mental state right now. Today is my birthday and literally out of nowhere, I searched for this Chant and have been so rewarded. Thanks again.

i loved my time there. beautiful songs and chanting - silent walks, amazing yoga classes- food was so delicious I gained weight ! ha ha thank you for posting this- gorgeous- sadly i returned a few years later and it had lost a bit of its magic- but then again everything does - and it was still ok

I don't think this is from the 60s? I spent a good few months in neyyardam in what must have been 2007 or 2008, and this I believe Italian swami from this video here was there then, and looked roughly the same age as in the video. Truly very, very good times, those.

Hi Carol, I imagine you would be best to contact your local Sivananda centre for their chant book. The UK one (in Putney, London) had some last time I was there and they are happy for you to phone them and buy by credit card and have things posted to you.

Hi MaryJo - I've put the words on this one - to see them all you need to do is click the icon at the bottom it's either 2 c's [cc] or a rectangle with two horizontal lines in. It's next to the full screen / settings / watch later icons. It might take a few goes before you get the hang of quickly reading words like Sharavanabhava though :)

I am using this wonderful sound to wipe out the construction going on in my neighborhood!! I was in the first ttc that Mahdev taught .. Often I would race Vishnu to his hammock!! Of course, I never sat in it. Oh .. We use to laugh!!!!

@@adammacer it doesn't mean any ego. They are just telling they did TTC... those days we couldn't keep the contacts as it would be changing time to time. Now we can form a group and share our thoughts, experience by using the latest technologies... This way, they could join as friends in good vibrations...

Why this missionary chants only ganesha songs, It mentioned in all upanishads and vedas that hari nam sankirtan is yuga dharma in kali yuga. If you are following vedas then chant hari nam. But don't misled
