Jayco Crosstrak bogged at Bribie

Our quiet and relaxing weekend away took a bit of a turn when we got our Toyota Hilux and Jayco Crosstrak 13ft bogged on Bribie Island.
We camped at Gallagher Camp Site. Bookings need to be made prior to arrival, as well as vehicle permits.
We have also modified the caravan so have also included the review of the new tap and upside down cupboard door.

Well done, that skid is great, petty it is so expensive, why can't other campers have respect for there neighbours, hard to find peace and quiet these days, great vid guy's 👍👍👍

not sure if anyone has mentioned it...but if you aim the skid in the direction youre going to pull before you put weight on it, they work a lot better without digging in and not grunting to pull it round :-)

Good to see the gear in action! Sure you could of reversed in further in to the scrub and drove out …. Anything over 18/psi is a hero! 12 psi if in doubt and 8 psi if you screwed !,…… 👊🏻👍🇦🇺

Love the content and that you keep it simple with a normal rig and the crosstrak. What/how many rear springs do you run on the hilux? Cheers

Thanks for watching. Rear springs are Medium duty, around 300 constant load.

i was keen on a caravan but realised that everything they offer my troopy already has. None of them have enclosed showers or toilets etc

The awning on the caravan is a standard issue from Jayco. I'm pretty sure its a carefree.

You moved? Bugger that! You simply should have walked over to their spot & asked them to turn things down.... NAKED. I reckon that would have made them move!

That may have actually of worked! Lucky it only takes about 20 mins to pack up a weekend in the Crosstrak!

Absolutely horrible that people do this, I cannot keep my mouth shut, but I understand, you guys do not need the confrontation to spoil your tiume, and you get to practice recovery skills, whoooo hoooo how good was that?
