I saw this and I had it in my hands but, I was just like I don't want it anymore. It felt as if I was going to waste my money.

If you like both the movie and comic figures and dont have the previous versions then this is a pretty solid set which decent accessories. If you only collect movie or only collect comic figures or already own the figures from previous releases then it becomes harder to justify.

wow your vid just came up on my search i didnt even know you uploaded it so recently! this video was SO helpful thanks! i was searching exactly for a comparison of the boxed-set movie flash vs the reg release movie flash to see if they were the same or not. also- where'd you get that batfleck figure at 11:54 ??

It came with the Dawn Of Justice Batcave Mattel released a year or so ago. It actually one of Mattel's basic 6" figures and not an actual Multiverse one so has less articulation and a little shorter.

Thank you for the review JC. Those figures are so lame that I got that set in my hands at Target heavily discounted (50%) off and put it back on the shelf for the next collector. :) Mattel misses the mark very often, and now that they are upping their game just to be still below Hasbro they are raising the prices.

I really want the Barry Allen head sculpt and the extra set of hands... but I’m not paying double for two figures I already own, one of which is worst than the regular single card release. If they’re going to continue with cash grabs like this in the future at least include one new figure.

Nice, I know both Batman and Cyborg are available on the walmart website. I am passing on them cause the figures arent different enough from previous versions to justify and dont care that much about the mother boxes.

I don't own the unlimited flash, and he's a little pricey now, so this wouldn't be a bad set to own, I just thought how awesome it would be if they add the tv flash to the set....for the same price. I know, I know, that isn't going to happen, it is mattel.

When a holiday tanks, the retailers quickly go onto the next one. Honestly, I just don't think the economy is that good and shoppers are being more conservative with their money.

The image of the other comic book Flash you showed us looks like the costume is a darker red. Could just be the picture, though.

Possible. I don't actually own that one but often they will vary the paint just a bit to differentiate it.

Mattel's original N52 Flash release had a sculpted on emblem. Why the hell did they remove that? BTW, yellow lightning is too colorful for a DC movie.

Costume wise I sorta like the Cinematic version, though the new suit he just got in the TV series might be the best one overall. Need to see it more.

They have already released figures of the rest of the Justice League Movie team. For Rebirth that already did Batman and Superman will be in the next Clayface wave and Wonder Woman will be in the Rebirth Lex Luthor wave which comes out after the Clayface wave.

It's labeled as Rebirth, but the Rebirth and New 52 suit designs are pretty much the same so it doesn't really matter.

The regular dcmv figure looks like a 20 dollar figure, the one from this set looks like a 10 dollar cheap piece of junk in comparison. I get 40 percent off purchases at target so I'll be picking this up but it's mainly for the classic flash reissue and the extra hands. Mattel needs to step their game up and try to at least be close in quality to hasbros legends. Either that or sell these things for 14.99. Dcc needs to step their game up as well. Their figures feel way overpriced compared to marvel legends and it sucks because I much rather be collecting dc characters at the level I collect legends but refuse to pay more for less. They already start off 5 dollars more expensive and then you add in sales tax and shipping and it's ridiculous.especially now that they essentially aren't giving you anything but a figure in the box and the figures are hit and miss with subpar articulation. I'm willing to sacrifice articulation for sculpt but they can't even get a batman headsculpt right 95 percent of the time they're so pathetic.

Don't think Mattel really cares enough about the collector demographic these days to care if they match up to Marvel Legends or not and the movie figures seem to actually move fine for them, so I wouldn't expect any major changes. IMO Mattel makes this stuff cause they know the retailers will buy up the movie stuff. The comic stuff is just an afterthought for them.

ZipperedSoup 69 that's not how it works.....in the comics it does, but in the DCEU it's meant to represent that his connection to the Speed Force is pretty weak and still has a long way to go in order to get to the yellow lightning, however in the comics, it represents that your insanely fast
