I believe there's an unlimited ketchup and chili sauce in Indonesia Maccies (you can refill it as much as you want). You should've tried it. The ketchup is pretty much the same as in the UK but their chili sauce is special, I don't think you can find it in other countries

At McDonald's, I always go for Big Mac and medium fries. The same thing with Wendy's and BK. Y'know, I like their burgers more and if I want me some good fried chicken - KFC will always be the answer for it. Oh yes. One more thing. Fun fact: The reason that Indonesians tend to use "Selamat Datang Di Indonesia" instead of Malaysians way of "Selamat Datang Ke Indonesia" is because of the Dutch Influence. See, in the Netherlands - the people there might say "Welkom In Nederland" or "Welcome to the Netherlands." The "In" there occupies the part where "To" is normally used. The same thing applies here, of which Indonesians' grammatical positions sometimes follows what the Dutch used in Dutch Language.

the fries are actually a great combo to eat with their vanilla ice creams! maybe can go well with their regular ice cream cones but I always go with a mcflurry! dip the fries on the ice cream and it's really good 🤤 also their matcha mcflurry is really so good but sadly that's a seasonal item only 😢

I recommend you to go to Baduy tribes .. it's not to far from jakarta but they traditionaly like real Indonesian villagers in 100 years ago

Pedas in Indonesia is Spicy 6:26 Panas (actually only for weather or the chicken fresh from the oven and still steaming and when we eat into our mouth is hot that we always called that panas in Indonesia)

It sounds crazy but I've always found Western fast-food brands like KFC, McDonald's to be so much better in Asia than the UK. Not just the special items they have but the standard things just taste better. Plus the service is always much better.

if you are back in Jakarta maybe you can try KFC's Naughty By Nature, they are a premium luxury version of KFC unique to Indonesia. Their menus are sooo different and interesting.

tbh, MCD in indonesia have a very good customer service. once i had a delivery to my home and they kinda messed up with the drink so the drink was spilled to my rice, so i complained about it a lil bit and they kindly enough to delivered me a new rice to my home. great people there
