I understand what Yellowfang means with "I've got more healing power in one claw, than you do your whole body," but my only problem with it is that Jayfeather invented growing herbs, and physical therapy of 2 kinds. Said physical therapy being him using water for Cinderheart, and Briarlight with the stretching to keep her alive and strong.

Does anyone have the original version of this rap? The line that got cut out just ruins the flow. I understand why it was taken out, but as a disabled person myself it just seems unnecessary and I want to listen to the uncut version of the song. By the by, there are way more important things to be worrying about in terms of correcting ableism in our society than fictional cats being referred to as "sicklies". In addition, Jayfeather saying that doesn't necessarily reflect how the people creating these songs feel; it's a character's comment. He doesn't HAVE to use perfectly inoffensive language, especially if he is intending to insult another character in a rap, which he is here. I appreciate the creators being concious, and no, I would not like it if anyone called me "sickly" for being disabled. I see how the word appearing here may bother some people. However, if it was really that big of a deal, "sicklies" could have been changed to "kitties" or a similar word, rather than ruining the flow of the rap. To me the disruption calls more attention to the error and makes the experience less pleasant overall than the inclusion of the original line did. If you are going to alter a song, especially a rap, please at least leave the original FLOW in-tact. I wouldn't really care if the line was changed rather than omitted entirely in a really jarring manner.

While I completely understand the reasoning behind removing that line, I think it was wholly unnecessary. I have a few reasons why I think that. -Ruins the flow -It's being said by Jayfeather, a blind cat. Being blind is a disability, so I for one never interpreted the line as ableist. I kind thought it meant sick in the head ((for taking mates as med cats)) rather than sick of body. I kinda thought the line was about Leafpool, ngl, who she didn't necessarily train, but still influenced and "took the same path" as Yellowfang in mating with Crowfeather. All Leafpool's kits were pretty hurt when they found all that out so I thought Jay was blaming Yellow. Though I suppose that may not make too much sense. -Even if it was taken out for being ableist, Yellowfang's last line... feels like it negates the point? Since she makes fun of Jayfeather being blind. All in all, putting it back or remaking the rap with slightly different lyrics might be best. That **was** my favorite ERBOW but now it feels awkward ngl. I am unsure if you took it out as a result of backlash or what, but maybe consulting the listeners would be good next time? Asking people who suffer from the conditions if something is offensive always helps me out personally! I doubt this comment will influence ya much and whatever your decision is, I respect it!

Wouldn't it be better to change "sicklies" to "kitties" instead of just stripping out the entire line? I mean you might as well strip "you're so pitiful starclan had to spare them their wrath" since that line makes no sense without the former line. I get you're trying not to be ablist but you can avoid it with just replacing the word instead of erasing the line?? Unless you can't ask Dean to redo the line or something like that, then I understand.
