No one could touch Stevie in her prime for that otherworldly ethereal vibe she had. I went to a Stevie Nicks concert in the 80s, the Wild Heart Tour it was, and she was this gorgeous chiffon-swathed coked-out fairy princess spinning all over the stage...and when she closed with Edge of Seventeen, and really extended that whole "I hear the call of a nightbird" line...Man!! We were singing that line over and over with her & afterwards we all felt like we had been communing with the High Priestess of Rock! It was totally 80s awesome! But time has not been kind to her voice. She's still Stevie, and still has a big stage presence but she's lost alot of her range sadly. Alot of hard living and well, we all get older. She has a definite place in the classic rock pantheon and nobody can take that away from her!

That Beautiful woman was awarded the USO-Metro Achievement Award for her work with wounded service personnel, veterans and active duty. She's done so for decades without fanfare. That just makes her music that much more special

Stevie Nick's is the GYPSY QUEEN.. Only woman to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, once for Fleetwood Mac, and then her solo career. Inspiring. Check out her duet with Tom Petty " Stop Dragging my Heart Around". Classuc. Thanks, great reaction.❤

Jamel - I love watching your reactions to songs like this, but the airwaves and internet are flooded with "classic rock." I've been functionally blind for the past 13 years and it's definitely affected the way I respond to music. Like you, I don't just listen - I "feel." This is also the first time I've been compelled to comment on a KZfaq video. There are many artists who have a valuable message and convey so much emotion that are, for all intents and purposes, unknown to the general public for a variety of reasons. You have a platform to help rectify this. Here's my short list: Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows" (Leonard Cohen cover) Grace Potter - "I Shall Be Released" (Bob Dylan cover ) - live version - Love for Levon benefit concert Walkenhorst and Porter - "Stay Ahead Of The Wolves" The Rainmakers - "Government Cheese" The Band - "Too Soon Gone" (my mom died in her early 50s - it's how I remember her) Death Cab for Cutie - "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" Brian Fallon - "See You On The Other Side" John Hiatt - "Have A Little Faith In Me" (my wedding song 32 years ago) Warren Zevon - "Bill Lee" The Beat Farmers - "Rosie" (Tom Waits cover) Tom Waits - "Lullaby" Fair warning - if you go down the "rabbit hole" of any of these artists you may not return for awhile. Stay safe, and thank you for being you.

Stevie was so popular back in the day that a certain bar in town would have a Stevie Nicks Dress-up Night contest! All the chicks would come decked-out in their Stevie finest!! It was a a bizarre scene to behold for sure!

Thanks for this one. Stevie is one of my all time favorites! Reactions to any of her songs will be appreciated and loved. She has SO much great material, not only as solo artist, but also with her band Fleetwood Mac and just so many duets as well. Such a great rabbit hole to go down and so much material!
