You are the only one who will know that the pages are reversed in order. To us looking at them, you are showing the fun they had at the creek & on the other page you are showing us who they were. It is like watching a movie, you see the movie & stick around to find out who was in it!! It is often difficult to show photos like these & make the page interesting so the techniques you are showing I wish I had known about before joining ctmh 10 years ago & even in the early years no one was on youtube showing us how to make our pages interesting. So I really appreciate that you are now on along with others from the team showing those of us who are not quite so gifted in the artistic field but who would like to be or wish we had that gift as well but will always be scrap lifters!! So many thanks as I have learned such a lot since the world closed down in 2020. 😄

So love the layout! Liked how you took the busy postage stamp paper and brought just touches of it into the white. I never would have thought of using it. Likely might not have…just only the other side in some layout. I learned a paper technique with this layout. You always make things look so easy with great teaching and technuque. TFS!!! ❤❤❤

One of my boys just moved to CO and I just had my first visit which included a few hikes. Can’t wait to use this collection. I may have to experiment with putting white on the top of the mountains. What do you think would be the best way to do that?

Oh yay! What part of CO is he in? I am glad you got to experience a few hikes recently…it gets pretty hot in the summer! Adding snow to mountains is so fun! A couple techniques that come to mind are/ 1) add a little white texture paste with a palette knife. You can spread to desired texture. 2) If you use CTMH’s white-core cardstock you can sand the top of the mountains to reveal the white core. Have fun with it!

@@JaymaMalme both are great ideas! He is in Aurora. We hiked at Red Rocks and in Rocky Mountain National Park. 🥰……..and ate at way too many amazing restaurants

@@nwalker1049 Bothe GREAT places to hike! Next time you visit you'll have to plan a concert at Red Rocks. It is the most amazing venue I've bee to. We have several upcoming this summer. Nothing like it!

I have seen you use your antistatic cloth on the back of your stickers when you are laying out your pages to keep them from sticking. Do they stay that way or do they get sticky again. I am making a wedding album for my grandson and they won't get the pictures until after the wedding. I am giving it to them at their shower. How do I keep the stickers from sticking on the area where the picture will eventually be so they can put their pictures in without having to try to pull up part of the sticker or embellishments.

Hi Lyla, lucky them! And that sounds like a fun project for you. You can use the anti-static pouch…they won’t get sticky again. I use tape or glue when I am ready to adhere the stickers. You can just make sure the part that is covering the photo does not have any adhesive on it. If you use 3d foam, don’t peel off the backing where it overlaps. Hope that helps. Have fun!
