Tatum can be the next Paul Pierce. Not in skill set because every star is different, but in terms of what he will mean to Boston fans and what Boston will mean to him. As a lifelong Celtics fan, what gives Paul Pierce a special place in my heart is the relationship that he has with the Celtics fanbase. We loved him for what he gave to us and he has always loved us in return. I think Tatum can be the same guy, a guy who came from LA but will bleed Celtics green forever. I look forward to one day being in Boston with my son when they retire Tatum's jersey and talking about this amazing season and how I watched him come out as a player.

Around this time I had fallen off of watching basketball as much as I did before, I was just too busy with life and my Celtics just weren't enough to captivate me to a TV set.
