He will get there. He is improving year by year, as long as he stays committed, motivated, and healthy. We will see this eventually, maybe after he wins a few rings.

@@multiplemike I don't think he ever will get there to be honest. Even in his highlights, he forces things when he's got an open man cutting to the rim or corner... To be fair though, Bird's court vision was unique and there may be only a couple of handful of players in the history of the league with his vision. I will say that Tatum will probably get better, but I feel like court vision is a gift from birth... Either your born with it or your not... But that's not too say that you can't learn to see the game better and have it slow down either. That's probably my biggest beef with Tatum... He defaults to hero ball instead of seeing the floor and passing to the open man.

I also that Luka gets compared to Larry Legend because he’s no Bird! and I don’t care what the stats suggest. JT just needs to read the defense correctly when the double teams come and from where to make the right read. Larry was also not double as much as Tatum so give him some credit. He’s 19!😂But he is getting better each year. And he been great this year so I don’t get the hero ball statement and especially using this game as an example. That’s a real poor choice fir an example. This was a great game from JT, no hero ball at all. Go look at the finals to prove that point. You do know he was cooking right? So, he does not need to pass the ball every time a teammate is open. Also, I hope you are aware that you can’t hide your bias with words right? They will always show thru. And you my friend have some bias towards JT.
