Idk. Personally I'm in favour of having him high in the discussions, but the media for some reason doesn't like him that much. Just being the best player on the best teams isn't good enough anymore.

Tatum is having a great year so far (yes I know it’s only been like 9 games) just hoping the celtics play like this for the rest of the year and in the playoffs

Idk if y'all saw the video from that other channel, but Tatum's highest % comparison this year is 2011 Kevin Durant (his 4th best comparison is 2004 Paul Pierce too). He's just killing it. He's doing all the things that he has struggled with since his rookie year, great shot selection, consistent every quarter every game, finishing through contact, not losing the ball, finding open shooters when he drives and the defense collapses. It's amazing. If last year was the best he would ever be fit the next 10 years, he would end up a top 25 all time, so now that he's getting better he might end up a top 15 all time and that list is a really really great list with names like Kareem, LeBron, MJ, Kobe, etc.

I don't think he's a mvp candidate so far but more importantly we have to be a favorite for the finals I hope tatum figures out he doesn't have to settle for 3s. Once he's hot off a few midrange buckets then the 3s fall like nothing for him

That's true, that game Tatum shot 12 attempt 5/12 so 7 missed, and brown shots 9 attempt 2/9 also 7 missed, so whats the difference between jt and jb they both got 7 misses it means same percentage from the 3 point that game, and some other fans says jb stop shooting 3s leave it to jt, Thats not a true Celtics fans, it's only jts fans. When brown score 36 in just 3rd quarter vs wizard and shooting 8/13 from 3point area for them na it's a joke.😂😂

How in the world is he not an MVP candidate? He's the best player on a top team, and the net rating splits when he's on or off the court are ridiculous. It's clear he elevates whoever he plays with. He's leading the NBA in that stat by a wide margin. And he's putting up 28.4 / 8.9 / 3.9 / 1.2 on 52.6% shooting and 39.6% 3 point on a loaded team with three other All-Stars. AND he plays elite defense, unlike Doncic.
