Yeah the proof is in the win and the way the team plays TOGETHER with all the phenomenal players and no egos ever take over. That's the proof and that's why they win. They make room for each other to be great on any given night and never feel the need to take personal responsibility for the win. I enjoy watching them play still! They make this game fun to watch.

Man he's different. Allows players to play - Steps in when required. Showing good signs of leadership. Never takes all the credit, admits when he doesn't do well. Really like to see him get the chip this year.

I love how the way White dismiss him when he wants the ball in the last minute of the ot White set up him with that 3 pts shot that he makes

In the 4th quarter JT started off hitting 2 shots. After that, Derrick looked him off to brick shots and turn the ball over. I've never seen a team where a role player is empowered to ice their star player like this. White was great when he would just defend and take open shots, but recently his tunnel vision, his slow processing during the PNR, his calling his own number when it's not needed, it's giving me reminders of Marcus during his worst moments.

@@wklguy2376 yep, he has a tendency to do this from time to time. Overall he makes the right plays but for some reason no one calls out his mistakes because the other players usually recover for him.

JT..reflect on your performNce truly in the mirror ....yes the final stats r great 👌👏👏...but in the 4th quarter u continue to not be anywhere close to be a player befitting your talent n your abilities ,your body language shows u have given up n appears u have nothing to offer other then iso jump shots.. ur shots are awful , stop dribbling the balllll... pass move around get to the paint finish strongly at the rim ... n the TO in OT again omg . hope u get over these usual habbits now seen for years. show a purpose for a win in 4th with plays, Not iso bb, dribble n slowly walking the ball eating away clock ....JB n Jrew saved C's..may i get to c you take it to that next level

(full disclosure - I am a Celtics fan) Tatum is not an alpha. Nor is Jaylen. They are both supremely talented, but neither one can will their team to victory. It will be surprising if they ever win a title, since the opposing team will almost always have a stronger leader, despite not being as talented. Anthony Edwards is the future.

So what did JB do in the last few possessions? JB made a steal, a block, forced a turnover and a clutch 3pt shot in like the 60 seconds of the game. He willed them to victory. Tatum then closed it out in OT. They are a duo.
