I let my viewers send in any kind of file they wanted, which I then installed on my PC. These were any kind of files that I just willing installed on my PC, sent in by any viewer. I showcased picture files, executable files, or just simple game files that I installed on my pc, which viewers sent in.

I worked with a sofware developer who enjoyed a laugh, so sent an executable to us in support for us to install, under the guise that it was a useful diagnostic tool. Unfortunately, It disabled the keyboard, blanked the screen apart from a large flashing 'PORN ALERT' message and a loud siren noise. You had to power the machine down to get rid of it.

No such thing as virus removal. You need to use media creation tool and format ur hard drive because viruses go all the way down to the registry

@@Mafia932z uhhh no jay ran MEMZ which overwrites a computer's MBR with Nyan Cat so the only way to fix the damages is to simply recover the MBR and the computer will be bootable again

@@commodore6494 you are right because you are speaking about one type of virus. There are viruses that mess with the MBR, go deep into your files, and make registry lists that automatically make it reinstall no matter what. At the same time. There are also some the are smart enough to secretly disable malware. And the funny thing is these viruses make themselves unnoticeable so they can run keyloggers and have access to ur system remotely. If I was you I wouldn't risk it. I would just wipe my hdd and even go as far as deep formatting to get rid of it, because there are viruses that make themselves undeletable and will re initiate on a new copy of windows.

Hey, I’m the one who sent you the game, you actually don’t have to install steam to use the game. When you open the first file, there should be a file with the same name, when you open that click “game.exe”. It should work then.

@@JaysTechVault It’s fine, I think it didn’t work because when you open the first file called “Changed”, that version in there is DRM tied to Steam. There should be a another folder in there called “Changed”, same name as the first one. When you click “game.exe” in that folder it should work, I tested it on multiple computers and it worked.

Well some viruses can spread from the virtual machine to the host machine (as in the actual physical computer) as well as to his other computers and his phone and basically anything on the same Wi-Fi network

I couldn't help but notice you were running this inside of a virtual machine, and just wanted to give a quick note... That won't fully protect you. There could potentially be an exploit allowing malware to escape the VM. This usually happens by exploiting some service running on the host. I could see your VM had a network connected (likely a NAT adapter), which is a huge risk! From there it is possible for malware to spread further, to any other device on your network, should the vulnerabilities be available. Of course, this assumes your host was connected to your local network. Be safe, and run it on an entirely isolated machine (disconnected from your local network/router). Also be cautious, some malware will wait until you're connected and can remain undetected by anti-virus software. Love the video, but make sure you stay safe my friend!

Maybe he didn't, I saw the VM was connected to the host network likely using the standard NAT adapter. (As I mentioned in my first comment) Maybe his host machine was not connected to a network, but the VM was connected to the host... Take a moment to check for yourself.

first thing 1. disable the network connection to the VM. Malware can spread using LAN 2. give the poor vm 2 more core and 2gb more ram to atleast survive till the end. Thanks.

Oh man I used to love doing prank programs like that. Wish I was still setup to code in windows these days and I'd send something fun. What's even a good compiler for windows these days? I might give it a whirl. If you got pranked by something called prank pack back in the early 2000's, that was probably my program. It was just a zip file with a bunch of prank programs in it.
