Certainly. Windows "Search" option never finds the files I look for in my own computer, even though "indexing" has been activated forever. Then it offers to search in the Internet, when I know the files will never be found there

@@Juan_V_Herrera If you're trying to run a program, hitting enter on the search bar will try to run the program you searched for, even if it doesn't show up there. Why do you have any issues that need checking? This video is a bit iffy, a title like "Free Programs that EVERY OC enthousiast should have!" would be more fitting as a bunch of those programs are much more for "OC + then testing things" than something useful to have all the time. I mean benching is pretty useless most of the time.

The uninstaller I got from your first video about it, was great for me. I had Windows keep telling me that an old printer needed to be updated and so under the "optional Updates" on windows it would always say one files needs updating and no matter if I installed the update which sometimes would say it worked and sometimes it would say it did not there would always be a one showing up in that section. I used the uninstaller to get rid of whatever software was left behind Identifying the files thru the printer number and it removed all the junk left behind when the printer was originally uninstalled. Now there is no one next to the Additional updates unless there is actually one that I need to do. It was so satisfying to finally get rid of that old printer driver that I could not get rid of any other way. Made me very happy!

pronounce Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation i'll wait the content of the acronym does not matter, its pronunciation is determined first by how the acronym feels in the mouth and how the creator of the acronym says it's pronounced if it does not make an existing word in this case, though, Graphics Interchange Format shortens into the old english Gif, pronounced Yiff, which is the original spelling of "if" so realistically, the G should neither be hard nor soft, it should be silent
@Koutouhara
@Koutouhara 4 ай бұрын
@@d3str0i3r Yeah exactly! Acronyms don't care about what the sound of the word that makes it, it's irrelevant to the pronunciation of the acronym; if it did matter than well known terms like LASER, AIDS, JPEG, and SCUBA wouldn't be pronounced by the standard that we do. GIF is just in a grey enough area that it can be pronounced both ways by what the speaker feels comfortable with. I personally have an accent that makes soft 'g' GIF more comfortable. People understand what I'm speaking about so it doesn't hinder communication, which is all that matters :) Plus, I don't want to have to pronounce SCUBA as 'scubba' 😬

these kinds of arguments never hold water, as there are several words that use soft g's as well, pronounce "George" or "giraffe" or "gym" for example. the inventor of the format specified a soft g, and on top of that it rolls off the tongue far easier that way too.

LOL Revo Hunter mode, is one of its best features dude! It turns your Revo interface into a translucent moving target which you can place over whatever item or object you want to uninstall, and it will read it, and start the process. This is useful for things that won't always show up in either software list, and that does happen quite often -

KeePass is a must have. Do you know all your passwords? Yes - ok, you should NOT use the same simple one on every device, software or website. No - keep a copy on each device and you will be fine. Make clear were the key is and your family will be thankful if in urgent need.

I use Fan Control, Revo Pro, and Signal RGB for managing my system. I don't find the need to overclock my CPU as it performs well straight out of the box. Opting for the OC version of the GPU simplifies matters for me as well. As for RAM, I configure it for optimal and stable performance via the BIOS settings. This approach eliminates the necessity for constant benchmarking or system monitoring. Initially, I conduct setup and keep an eye on things for a couple of weeks. Afterward, I intermittently check to ensure smooth operation without significant deviations. I prefer a low-maintenance approach. Speaking of which, I favor Signal RGB for its user-friendly interface over Open RGB. Unlike Open RGB, Signal RGB doesn't embed itself into the system like a virus. For those using Open RGB, employing Revo Uninstaller is advisable. If proper uninstallation of Open RGB isn't achieved, a reinstallation followed by running Revo on it again can resolve the issue.

Revo Hunter Mode is really nice. Like taking a dropper tool to pick a color from anywhere on your screen, hunter mode lets you click on a window, and Revo will figure out what program put that window there so you can then uninstall it. Nice for removing PUPs (potentially unwanted programs) that pop ads up in the corner of your screen and things like that.

Regarding Revo: How should a "fuller" registry slow down a PC? What even means "as it gets fuller"? There is no " full" on the registry. >90% of the keys an application creates in the registry are only accessed by itself. The rest are the links for uninstalling via windows mechanisms and maybe some file associations. None of those slow down your pc.

I'd also like to add regarding to possible frame-pacing stutters, leaving GPU-Z open on the Sensors tab for a long period of time has caused me to have frame-pacing inconsistencies due to sensor polling overtime, maybe the tool is not clearing it's old history overtime filling up. But obviously most sensor tools that monitor a lot of sensors can run into this. HWmonitor seems rather forgiving, EVGA Precision X1 is however quite intensive, which you need for EVGA iCX GPU's because MSI Afterburner will not control those individual fans, sometimes restarting the software helps removing some of these stutters.

18:10 Revo Uninstaller's hunter mode is great for identifying popups (or anything visual at all on screen) and their responsible programs. After enabling hunter mode, you just hover your curser over anything on the screen, and it'll tell you what program is responsible for it and where the files are located. I've helped a friend remove an invasive browser extension this way that he had no idea how to get rid of. Free version is 10/10.

Tip: I do not recommend stress testing software like Prime95 or others for users with stock coolers, oftentimes they are not adequate and can result in very high temps leading to issues down the road. This is more so for systems with motherboards that are made for overclocking and stock unlocked chips like K series intel. I ave found they over volt these K chips by default in the bios which means you could end up thermal throttling while doing these stress tests, it shouldn't hurt anything for a few seconds bu it can without warning. Be wary unless you have a beefier cooler.
