Congratulations.just wanted to ask, do they let you keep the schedule 1 paper during the test?
@ilovejohndeere12 жыл бұрын
@@beeda69 yessir, you have the schedule one paper in hand during the test. Still pretty difficult as you need to match the defects and non defects in that category. For our air brake test we also had a check list taped to the dash so when u got in the truck you didn’t lose track of where you were at. That helped a lot also

⚠️⚠️⚠️ To Test tractor protection valve, you should apply the tractor break (yellow button in and red button out) then you have to press full service break application.

Don’t confuse people. The examiner has no idea how a anti compounding valve works….

This is cool. There's subtle differences in approaches between what you're saying and how I've been taught but when it comes down to the schedule 1, it's all there. I'm doing my DZ in a week and just soaking all this information in. Good informational video!

There's a lot of wordings, that's not being said on each Exterior inspection. I'm noticing it, because when I read it back on my schedule 1 inspection sheet for the Suspension System It says under Minor defects: Air leak in air suspension system Major defects: Damage (patch, cut, bruised, crack to the braid, or deflated) Air Bag or insecurely mounted air bag. You can't do that in Front of the exammer, that would be an automatic dismissal.
@flyingjstation2 жыл бұрын
We never had any situation at any drive test center where we have been told to do something different from what we teach. In fact, they tell us do not overdo it. Keep it simple. Also, this video is a helpful guide but stick to your own instructor's manual because I tell my students always stick to what I teach, and you will be good. Thanks for sharing your interest. Goodluck 👍

Hello You applied both brakes during tractor protection valve test shouldn't it be just the trailer brakes we need to apply?
@flyingjstation3 жыл бұрын
You can release your tractor spring brakes or have them applied. There is no error on that just make sure to have trailer supply valve out (Red knob) for Tractor protection valve.

Do be mindful of people when driving. Don't be like Mahaveer Jain from Brampton, Ontario who purposely struck and killed a local man in my area. Mahaveer is now charged with manslaughter along with several other charges and I hope to God he'll never be allowed to drive ever again and does prison time for murder! He took the life away from this man he didn't know but was a father and grandfather. HUMAN BEINGS ARE NOT ROAD KILL

damaged tire tread or sider wall:minor tire has exposed coda in the sider wall:major what is the difference b/w them?
@KodieGregory3 жыл бұрын
A drama her tread or sideway could just be some curb rash, or small chunks missing. Exposed cords would be a deep wound, enough to see the cords inside. Damage that bad could compromise the working capabilities of said tire.
