As a victim of grooming stockholm butterfly and piggie are incredibly special to we as well as best junkie you adore and is this it from the way that it affected my relationship with my family. I definitely feel like this is in my top ten albums ever sitting right nezt to blurryface and portals

I'm literally obsessed with Charm Bracelet, Best Junkie You Adore, and Stockholm Butterfly, they're so good 😭 Also, Allie X released her new album "Girl With No Face" and I think you'd really enjoy it, it's goth synthpop and its literally a masterpiece.

Whether you’re a fan or not, everyone should know that the comparisons being made to Melanie Martinez are a little unfair due to the fact that Jazmin’s work is based off of their real life experiences, while Melanie’s work is mostly fantasy and only tends to cover topics of trauma at their most surface level. Jazmin’s authenticity is what makes their music so meaningful and I don’t want it to be overshadowed by someone with more listeners than them.

Totally get that - I dont think it takes away from Melanie’s music as her stuff still helps people and is incredible. It just highlights Jaz in a different way! While the same realm, they’re both very different, comparisons arent always negatives either for me ❤️

The other difference is that Melanie writes her music in a way for the listener to cope, whilst Jazmin writes it in a way of them expressing their feelings, how they felt during that time, and after that time. It’s important to note these two things because Melanie isn’t trying to act like she’s been through the things she writes about. It’s her character, which the listener can replace her character with themselves and listen and cope with the song of their situation.

as someone who is also a recovering addict and has been through cycles of abuses this album feels so breathtaking the themes of feeling lost, being used, then burying your past and looking forward. absolute 1000/10 album this is album of the year for me so far❤🔥🔥

I cant even pick a favourite song on this album, I constantly listen to all the songs. If I really had to pick though Shit Show is the one i was most excited for after hearing snippets for the first time.

I love how jazmin ties in the songs, for example in "favourite toy" jazmin says "i dont want my stars they are tours to keep" but then in the music video for terrified theyre collecting their stars they gave away and are fixing them up and healing them 🥺❤️

First of all, I have really enjoyed watching your reaction. I felt the chills, emotion, everything with you. You are NOT hallucinating. The album is AOTY, I’m calling it now. Picking a favorite between a bunch of gems is hard, but I would say in order from fav to least fav: You Know What You’ve Done Best Junkie You Adore Stockholm Butterfly The only songs I still haven’t connected with are: Fish Black Dress

Favourite Toy released as a single August 11th, 2023rd. I first heard it the next day, August 12th. By the time November 23rd came around for Spotify Wrapped I had listened to that song on Spotify alone, 668 times. If anyone can understand what you mean by just wanting to put it on repeat to get lost in it, it's me. 💜

You NEED to react to the music videos💗💗 My personal opinion is that some of the songs kinda sound too repetitive/similar when they used to do very unexpectable stuffs like with lots of sounds and creepiness which fits more my vibe but this is a very cute album🧚 (unpopular opinions i kinda think the singles she put out were the best ones x) with Stockholm butterfly)
