I was watching the TV Series the Originals which is set in New Orleans and the music there is great. I saw some scenes where there are violinists playing jazz and I thought the the music is so rich and relaxing... I searched in KZfaq and found this. Great, now I am a fan of violin jazz.

I only recently came across this looking for inspiration music, and this performance genuinely has so much soul put into it. I love everything about it--- but It's awfully unfortunate to hear that the guy passed away, rest in peace.

People have been telling me jazz on a violin sounds good, so now I'm here. The smoothness of the strings makes it sound good for this piece, but other instruments still dominate jazz, as there are styles that won't sound good on the violin
