Introducing our new JB Gator X Caravan - AKA Wally Gator, we did a lot of thinking and visiting sale sites, talking with the sales people, picking up brochures for all the Caravan options we had available to us. It was a huge task to decide on one, there are so many choice out there, and the differences can be huge or small..
We settled on the JB Caravan's Gator X model for a few reasons and most of them are mentioned in the video, but they include -

Off Road Suspension
Correct weight for the DMAX to tow
Available within our timeframe..

Love the look of your trailer! Looks very roomy inside and love the bathroom.... Love the privacy shades. It is a beautiful home on wheels! 👍😀

How are you finding the lithium battery power supply when you are off grid? Has that been with it?

@@TopOzTours We found that we need to keep the inverter off when not using it and the 200amp hours are sufficient for us, but we are not TV watchers so only need inverter when we are charging electronics.... we have a compressor fridge that does use 4-5 amp hours x 24/7...

@@TopOzTours the lithium work well, and we use about 15% overnight managing the compressor fridge but we get it back first thing next day - as I said the inverter being off other than when needed made a huge difference.

Nice looking van guys! The enerdrive system is a good one. Get the app on your phone to keep an eye on what the btec lithium is doing :)

Hi, We have a Gator X 17"10 cafe front door ordered and was wondering how much payload your van has left when your tanks are full? There seems to be some negativity about the Gator X not having any payload once the tanks are filled. We love your videos BTW

Max weight is 2800kgs Tare weight 2269 kgs May or may not include gas bottles plus 180kgs (2x90 liters tanks). 2800 - 2269 - 180 = 341kgs of clothes and stuff Max allowed - minus tare weight - water..
