No i do not have any of the 2017 P pennies!! I have been saving wheats most of my life but just really started watching and learning more. I make alot of notes but now I'm a little overwhelmed because theres just TOO MUCH to remember LOL now i have to go back and make sure theres not any in the ones i have already gone thru. LOL

I have been watching some of the pennies videos for older pennies this days, so i started looking in an old Quaker Oatmeal pack that was around were we used to put lincoln pennies inside since Huracaine María passed by here on Puerto Rico and i started to look for older pennies, and i saw a very shiny cent and looked and it was a 2017-P Lincoln penny, so i said this is curious why it has a P on it i've never seen this before, and i remembered someone saying on one of the videos about this 2017 year so i said ok, i'll put it a side just in case, so i started looking for more pennies while watching Lincoln Pennies videos then a 2017-P video showed up and for what they said they are very valuable, so i keept looking but this time for very shiny new pennies, then i started finding more 2017-P pennies in very great conditions, they are almost untouched cause they have been in the Quaker box for so long closed there without even taking air they most of them dont even have scratches very well preserved, and can you belive i have found by now 57 (2017-P and still counting) maybe after Huracaine María when we received the AID from United States most of those cents were send here to Puerto Rico and in here there are not many coin collectors, so people most of them may have used them cause they dont know anything about it. So i could been lucky i think, at least 23 of them can be rated above 60 grade. Don't know what to do with them now. I'll keep trying to find more they are easy to find cause the quality can be distinguished from the others.

I have been collecting on/off for 38 years and just started again and I am learning these new type of metal coins are actually worth something unlike the pre-1983 True Copper cent. All the ones I receive in change are trashed , to say the least which deterred me from collecting but the Rolls are what I will have to get now, just to see. Thank You for this Video JB COINS INC.

Hello to all my J&B family. Well, with dedication and perseverance. I've finally found 1. I'm in CA, and after searching high and low, 50+ boxes of pennies, annoying all my friends, waiters, cashier's and anyone else I glimpsed had a penny. On 06-14-2020 I found a 2017 P penny!!! It's in great shape. I'm hoping to have it graded (I wonder if it's worth it?). I found it in a grab bag of coins at a garage sale!!!! It's not a proof or a special unc. coin, but I, under magnification can't see any blemeshes, scratches, no nothing. I've looked for many diff types of coins but this is my first find. I've talked to several collectors out west and they have all said they haven't seen them in circ on the west coast yet. Any ideas, suggestions?

I live over in Philadelphia and even in 2017 they were pretty hard to find. I have a few in different grades but best i can suggest is having someone from this coast send you a box of pennies

Great info! I'm new to coin collecting and so addicted to it, lolol! 😂 I never really paid much attention to our coins but now that I am I have to say that pennies are my choice of collecting. I definitely need a better way of deciding what to keep and what to let go of though. I have them all separated into plastic baggies with post it notes! Hahahaha gonna have to look through my 2017 baggie😉 So I looked through and I have some p and d, more of the p though, I know these came from a bank roll, and within the last 4 months since that's when I started collecting. BTW I'm in Maine

I splurged on a "Gem Uncirculated" 2017P when they came out. Surprised how nice it has stayed...those shield cents can turn ugly quick:) Keep doing what you do!!!

All ways wrap them in a 2x2 white piece of paper and mark the coin and put them in a container that is tight Lidded it will keep the mold and the coin from turning darker. and will keep it shiney.I've found out putting them in a cello wrap in time they lose their Luster.

Today after exiting a convenience store, I saw a penny on the ground and picked it up, pocketed it. A little over an hour later I viewed this program. Midway through the program it mentioned the penny with the D mint mark. I checked my found penny and it's a D mint mark cent of 2017. I'll send a pic of the coin later for your evaluation.

This is a funny 2017 penny story. I have over 350 rolls of pennies, bags, containers of pennies, not to mention all other coins. Anyway, my German shepherd puppy grabbed a roll of pennies, I grabbed them and started looking at them to sort. The 1st 4 pennies was 2017. I thought ok, I know almost nothing about coins but saw the P, I thought wow P is usually not there. I found a few more with the P. So I looked at the 2016 and 2018's and no P. They are not proof or anything but I thought it was funny because as I checked thru your videos I found this 1. Thanks for posting it!

I sat down with my several stashes of coins, and so far, I've found an entire roll worth of 2017P. Only 3 or 4 2017D's so far, but the P's are far outnumbering the Denver struck coins. Haven't started to buy from the mint, I've always been a detail oriented person, and always look at coins. I always keep the ones I've never seen before, and also the ones that are in excellent condition.

This info about coins awakened my interest in looking for these 2017 pennies. I have none at the moment. I am an American living in Germany and was last in the USA in 2017. So, I will be looking through all the change that I brought back with me then. Who knows, maybe one is in there.

In Florida that is all you get in change, but i knew once this got out it would be a great Hunting effort, with luck on my side i knew that i've never seen a Philly Penny with a MM, so i started saving and told a few people that one day these will be worth something because Philly never had a MM on a Penny,then i started saving them,and going to my Credit Union and getting Boxes of Pennies and collecting because i knew that people would catch on,NOW I'M GLAD I DID, and i've put them in plastic rolls,and put a little Mineral Oil in them to keep them safe,but found a GRAND DADDY of one and sealed it shut, plus i keep the 2017-d also,and found one big Cud on the O on the back, good luck, they will be every where soon!

Hello, I’decided to organize all the change in the house recently and have fallen down the rabbit hole in a bad way. After watching this video this morning, I remembered seeing this date and thinking I have a bunch of those and I was right. I just counted them all up and have about 79 of these total, including 6 “D’s”. Most of them are shiny, some have cool tone colors and other you can tell we’re heavily circulated.

I have 4 2017 P and 2 D that range from horrible condition to decent, but am new at coin hunting and didn't know about possible errors for this year. Am going to take a closer look at them now! Thanks for all of your great videos and info on this channel, a great help for green beans!

Funny, Im looking for error coins in Iowa and decided to look up a 2017 P coin I found just because I havent seen too many Philadelphia coins, most are Denver. Its in good condition yet. Who would have thought it could be worth something. Thank you for this video.
