Absolutely wonderful beautiful apple orchard nothing like fresh apples and produce ! The restaurant was really nice everything fresh with ordering and a candy store right next door too visit before leaving with heading back home 🏡 😊🤗🥰

We love Carvers! Good Food, Good Folks...say hi to Brooks Aunt Alma Lou in the Candy Store (the older lady in red) . We always pair a trip to carvers with a drive along the Foothills Parkway just down the road. Beautiful Views ESPECIALLY in the fall! Our son loves the catfish. Brooks loves the meatloaf and I usually get the chicken. It's all good!

The orchard looked spectacular with the mountain in the background. Everything looked delicious. When y'all said that the chicken was prepared to order, we knew it was going to be good. Thenwe heard the crunch of Bobbie's chicken and knew it was going to be amazing. Jennifer said that she thought the catfish looked excellent but I'm not fond of cornmeal batter. Man both of your plates of food looked delicious but Johns would be my choice I absolutely love cat fish one of my favorite foods to order when I treat myself to a meal when I go out to eat if it's offered the scenery at that place is really nice you two are good at what you do and this channel is by far my favorite of all here on KZfaq others that try to imitate what you do can't compare!

My grandpa LOVED circus peanuts!! I’m like Bobbie where I’m not so much for them, but I would eat a few with him sometimes. They were good fresh, but when they started to go stale, they were awful!! But grandpa ate them with his coffee, so they weren’t wasted. I miss my grandpa and all his little quirks!!! 💕💕. Glad to hear you liked the food!!!

That place is absolutely beautiful. I used to can apple butter but my kids would have it gone in no time. I honestly don't know which one I would have chosen because it all looks delicious. I thought apples were for fall. We used to have a good place in California to get ripe apples and cider and U-pick. So good.

Love the Tn. prices. Pretty doon here in So Cal will have to take out a small loan for.a restaurant or fast food. Most fast food wages increase to $20 per hour. Believe most restaurants will be $16 per hour due to tips.Of course prices on everything everywhere have increased. Not sure of gas prices at this moment. Probably $5- $6 per gallon. I live about an hour away and love going to Carvers. Great food and friendly staff. Love all the food I have ever eaten there. I go as often as I can.

The shot of the mountains and orchard over your shoulder, John, while you were tasting the cider was just gorgeous! I would not be able to get past pork chops on that menu! They must be awesome, though I would love them with some applesauce and some tomatoes (neither of which they had). I can't do cinnamon so most of the apple stuff is out for me. 😞 The fried chicken looks out of this world! Thanks for this video - it reminds me of how my dad would bring us apples, fruits and fresh veggies and cider on his way home from NYC every night! He would stop off in NJ at a famous orchard (NJ is absolutely fantastic for orchards and pumpkin patches!). Miss my dad and mom!

Wow love APPLES resteraunt!!!! Bobbie love that fried chicken! 15 min worth it. Breast was so big! Definitely have a snack when I got home!!! Homeade mashed potatoes, fried apples my favorite fruit!!! John that catfish was the best looking and appetizing. Cole slaw, green beans w a little bacon grease. The orchard was beautiful! The big store wonderful! Ciders, preserves, salsas!!! The candy and pie store! My car would be loaded going back to the hotel if I was there!!!!! Have to have a cooler or little fridge going on vacation cause I would definitely bring back some things.

Oh, I would make that my destination place on a trip east. What a beautiful place. I love Winesap apples, and I saw that they have them. Winesaps are old apples and hard to find. Everything looked delicious. Thank you for a great video.

Saw this video last August and my daughter, son, granddaughter, and myself visited Carvers end of October. Loved it. Brought home apples, relishes, preserves, and of course cinnamon apple butter. Will do again this October. Enjoy your videos.

I lived in that area for over 30 years. Loved Carvers Restaurant and fresh vegetables! Never had a bad meal! While you're in that area several great local owned restaurants - The Woodshed just out of Newport, Fox and Hound in Newport and Trish's just out of Gatlinburg. Nice to see reviews featuring the small local restaurants! Great job!!!

Hey, you two !! Enjoyed the video. We have been visiting Gatlinburg and the surrounding area since 1981.Have driven by the orchard many times. Usually, their season had not started yet. Looks like a lovely scenic drive to the orchard...I love orchards & if they have a restaurant it's an 'added bonus'...lots of gr8 items on the menu..both meals looked so delicious..think .I would have tried the Pork Chops with the Fried Apples...and those Apple Fritters w/Apple Butter...HEAVEN..😊 and look at those 'hefty' portions for a very reasonable price 😊..of course I would have spent a few more $$$ in their store...😉..and oh my goodness a candy store...just what a 'sweet tooth' person like me wants to see 😄

Can't wait until September when we plan to visit the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Definitely will be visiting Carvers apple house for some fresh apples and food. That chicken looks so good and would be a great shared meal for my husband and me.

Gosh, it all looks delicious, I'd be a fan of the chicken for sure I think though that chicken with mashed potatoes should have a yellow chicken gravy, very old fashioned but yummy. The fritters looked good too, but I'd need to save room for the fried apple pie, yum. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

We have been going to Carver's for over 20 years....we love the whole experience! You need to try the chicken and dumplings too....our kids always loved them!❤ There is a diner just down the road from Carver's called Janice's Diner. Good home-cooked food in a cute diner setting! You should try them while you're in the area too 😊

I believe I mentioned it before, but the next time you are in Gettysburg you should follow the main cirle in town up past the college to a place called Hollabaugh. its the same thing on a smaller scale but they go crazy in October during the Apple Harvest festival. They also have seasonal shakes that use Mr. Gs ice cream. So good.

We discovered Carver's years ago. It is a hidden gem. I highly recommend eating there and checking out the orchard especially in the Fall. Great local produce and tons of apples.

They gave you plenty to eat and it looked so delicious . What a very interesting place to visit the orchard was beautiful the candy store what fun I never liked the circus candy when I was little but now that I’m old l love it thank you for another great adventure.😊
