Awesome video bro. Just a tip the calibration has two to be done. The first calibration the speakers are supposed to be put by where you sit, at butt level, you can say. Then when that’s done, you place the speakers where they will be located and do the calibration again. It will show a number 2 the second time. 😎

I bought this soundbar 2 years ago and I was pretty impressed with it. Im looking forward to checking out the Jbl bar 1300 and picking it up as a replacement for my jbl bar 9.1. I get 17-18 hours of back up from the wireless rear speakers before i have to charge them.

One thing about the calibration is there is two calibrations. One is putting the speakers near where you sit and the second is in the mounted position. This is so it knows where to direct upward firing sound for DTS X and Atmos.

Am I correct in thinking the HDMI cable supplied has ethernet making the soundbar a hub?

I purchased ps5 and Philips 4k ambilight Dolby vision Dolby Atmos TV this week soo would this work with my TV because in UK money I think it goes for around £600 I just fancy a good set up fella 🙂? When I heard Dolby Atmos on come out of Dolby Atmos demo on a ambilight TV the sound and look like nothing I seen or heard before was just wonderful Quality 👍 would a Dolby Atmos sound Bar improve my telly yea

I have this sound bar and love it. 1 downside is the speakers only charge in standby and if you forget to turn it off. Or for whatever reason arc didn't auto turn off (what happens sometines) I go to use the surround speakers and there flat. Its also got much more mid range sound then most sound bars I have heard.

Never had that problem. I leave my plugged in via the MICRO USB charge port. works great

Only in standby. Well when I press the button to turn it off or when my devices shut it down it states standby. So not sure how that’s a problem? 😅

Not necessarily a problem, but a downside. Means if they go flat while your using it. You can't change, imagine forgetting to dock them after a movie night. Then to watch movies again and relising.

@@justin17622 Get 10 foot micro USB cables from the dollar store, get a 1amp charger from the dollar store. I've had mine plugged in and never had issues for maybe 8 months

Could you explain the speakers in the soundbar without the 2 detachable ones? I thought it was just left, center and right.

@salchst that's why it's called BAR 9.1. 9 speakers plus SUB. The sound bar has 5, 2 top firing(L-R), 2 front firing (L-R), plus center.

@@Joeteck If I look at the video in the link I posted, all in all, there are 12 drivers, including the 2 detachables and the subwoofer.
