I think you gonna love it for hip hop and other music, for the room shaking it depends on the room size etc.

Hello, in this Jbl 500,can we listen to music like we hear in car audio? Like decrease the soundbar volume and seperately increase the subwoofer bass volume. So we will hear bass notes highly?

Hey, well yes and no. There is an small EQ you can make adjustments with, using the app but it's very limited.

Hi, could tou tell me if for music in general is it enough? Can we say that the sound is amazing for a mid party or just for listening to music at home with excelente sound quality and powerful sound when it's needed, or is better for music a specific sound sistem than this? Thanks a lot.

I most cases depending on room size this is more than enough for a mid party, your music will sound great with good lows as well.

Hi. Which one do you think is better in sound and bass quality. Samsung b650 or the jbl bar 500

I would say JBL Bar 500 overall, Samsung B650 is more clear with dialog which I like but the bass is no bueno.

Just purchased.. I like it but have to turn it on manually every time I switch the tv on.. my older Samsung sound bar would turn on and connect automatically.. am I missing something?

Are you using hdmi? This soundbar should have an auto on feature. Keep me posted and I'll look into it.
