Great review! I got both, charge3 20watts, charge4 30 watts, u can tell a difference in power and Bass. 4 really bumps especially outside!!

I loved that speaker until it died on me after 4 years of use everyday. It was a great speaker rip charge 3 🕊. I used it more than my charge 4 for sure. even though in the vs test I choose the charge 4.

Great review g I'm still indecisive on whether I want this or JBL Flip 3 but shit I'll see. I saw the charge 4 on facebook like a re-sell item for 85$, and it looks in good condition. Think I should buy it?

I really appreciate the review man. I work in snow removal and I'm looking for something loud enough to drown out the sound of a high revving diesel engine. Our bobcats and tractors don't have radios for the operators and having music is a huge plus. So, would this be a good speaker to mount in equipment like that? Or will it not be loud enough?

for a speaker this size. this might be your best bet because it's one of the louder speakers in this price range and size range. Good thing right now amazon is taking returns all the way to January because of Christmas. so you can put it to the test and see if it gets the job done. The jbl xtream 2 is on sell for $180 right now says there is 4 left. that's bit bigger and louder speaker amzn.to/2J5yMc4

Walmart has these on clearance now ..$86 for the blue ones and $96 for the grey ones ...I just bought 4 them the total was just under $400....

ive had this speaker for quite a bit now.... it sucks lol. switched to soundcore rave neo 50 w speaker. Head and shoulders above this mid speaker. Great video although, enjoy different perspectives!

from what I tested I would say Charge 3. Get a great sound for a cheaper price than the 4. plus you got that stereo sound

Can one speaker fight the Sony XB series which uses 2 speakers in terms of the dynamics of the sound? I am confused about choosing between charge 4 and XB33...😑

So I listened to the Sony Xb33 on full blast in best buy last week and I wasn't to far off from the Charge 4 when it comes to sound (but again that was just in the store with the preset songs). I will say go off the battery life and other things it has to offer to decided between the two because sound wise they are neck and neck. As well check out my charge 3 review which as two speakers and you might save some money for the same quality with the charge 3

Brought this to a party my friend had the Bose revolve + II He was quite disappointed for the amount of money he paid, charge 4 was clear and loud but the bass was the big difference. Not saying is better than Bose just different purposes

But the charge 4 is a mono speaker whereas the charge 3 is stereo sound with dual speaker, so the sound of the 3 has to be better overall.

As I said before, I don't like the chage 4 because it's mono sound, whereas the charge 3 is stereo (two speakers inside) making the sound so much better. Perhaps the charge 4 is better once you synch multiple speakesr to get the stereo sound but as a single unit the charge 3 is better hands down.

Don't buy it. Bluetooth is unstable. Trying to use its app is horrible.. The app is horrible. as soon as you open another window it drops out. It won't connect on stereo to android phone or even 2 speakers. I gave had two of thigh s jbl's for a few years and I'm always cursing them!

I haven’t had a problem with any of my charges with drop outs. But I will say the JBL app is trash 🗑 100% agree with you on that and if you are trying to connect multiple speakers forget about it 👎🏾

I have had my charge 4s for over two years. Yes the app sucks but the speakers have held up and still sound really good
