I started thinking it was the battery so I was about to buy a new bat when I decided to search again for some more trouble-shooting videos and I saw yours. I tried it and IT WORKED!!!! Unbelievable. IT WORKS!!! But also, my charging light kept flashing and wouldn't turn on. I did the other way too and it was still problematic. Im not going to lie, I did not expect this to work AT ALL. But it did. I was skeptical for many reasons, like the comments and how many there are saying basically the same exact thing. That and the fact that holding those buttons doesnt seem to make much sense if there is no power whatsoever. But it did infact work. for anyone still having issues with this: 1) make sure it is NOT plugged in. 2) hold power AND plus button for 5-7 seconds and let go. 3) press the power button as you normally would to turn it on boom you should have power now. again, i tried this not expecting it to help as nothing else worked so far. somehow this did the trick. Thank you for the help!

My brand new jbl flip 5 didn’t turn on at all. I charged it but the light kept flashing. I used the power button and the plus sign held down until the flashing light went away and now it works normal. Thank you bro🙏🙏
