I just got my charge 5. I’ve never had a speaker this nice. The sound is awesome. I got mine to be able to listen to music while outside in the garden. Definitely works great.

I first bought change 5 and after Xtreme 3 If you try to hear xtreme 3 you cant go back. (App equalizer is recommended with rock level preset)

Should you let the battery be completely drained before fully charging it again or does it matter? Some batteries have a charge memory and can affect the play time if you don't let it drain completely

Las baterias de Litio no tienen memoria y no se deben descargar hasta 0% esto es muy malo para las batarias de litio, tambien es muy malo cargarlas al 100%, por eso la recomendación para prolongar la vida útil y cuidar la batería de litio es manejarla en un rango de 20% a 80% es muy malo cargarla hasta 100% y tambien es muy malo descargarla a menos del 20%

while I have partybox 110, it is respected but bass and clarity on the partybox is like 6 times better, keeping the sound in same range, I would prefer in door partybox. but as I said it is respected and very nice for outdoor.

Yeah, JBL claims are Bullshît. 5 to 6 hours and it's dead. It really sucks, I regret selling both my charge 3, they lasted a really long time.

I just bought it the other day charged it for 3hrs and I used it for one shift at work 2:15hrs on full volume and it was on low battery by that time can anyone let me know if they have the same issue I bought it for 240$ and it seems quite a bad purchase:(

@@kareemmartin4435 yeah man I realized it awhile ago. But if you go 100% volume you only get about 2hrs of play until it dies but I guess it’s how it’s made.. thought they were talking about 12hours full volume that would’ve been sick

That's what I was thinking too I use this always at full volume and I have one and it has lasted me 4 hours, which seems pretty bad Was trying to see if it's battery issue or not

I have a Charge 5 I find the biggest takeaway is lack of the aux port meaning I cant wire it to my phone or other device for playing games since using Bluetooth without at least aptx built in the latency is way to high however I know usb audio is possible on the device and with the ability to push firmware updates I know my chance is next to 0% but I just hope someone at JBL sees one of my comments and adds a Toggle in there app for audio over usb!
