I heard this comparative live and the Xtreme 3 fills WAY better the room with its sound... the Charge 5 is loud but it feels more like one-way sound

@@ovhip one jbl extreme 3, but with hiz new price of 250 euros. I would've go for the jbl partybox encore foe 265, very deep bass and compact. I love it

I have both - they sound amazing in party boost mode but Extreme 3 definitely fills low and mids better by a lot it’s very noticeable

Although there is a large difference in size, the volume between the devices is smaller than expected. Extreme 3 is disappointing

I have two of the JBL CHARGE 5 Bluetooth speakers in the red color and I love them. Honestly I didn't think the JBL EXTREME 4 sounded that much better in this video to justify my purchasing one yet.

Not surprised.. of course JBL wouldn't push the Charge 5 as far as possible because it would make the Xtreme series pointless.

@@dex6756 C5 was pushed beyond limits of volume, making it waste more amps. The Wi-Fi model has double battery to compensate this mistake and giving the promised 20 h of use

The bass is very wooly on the Xtreme 3 whereas the bass on Charge 5 is on the tighter side.

Punchy/upper bass just sucks in reality, it bleeds into the vocals and turns everything mushy, and it even muffles the lower harmonics, such as the sound of string instruments, though deep bass doesn't do that, and that's why people who have trained ears much prefer deep bass over upper bass.

Why can't they just make 1 large bass speaker, 50w 5 inch, that operates exclusively from 25 hertz to 100 hertz and design it smartly for high decibel output, and put 2 midrange speakers 20 watts, again, exclusively midrange frequencies and well-thought-out characteristics of quality factor, distortion and frequency response, and 2 tweeters of 15 watts each. Why are these two incomprehensible oval universal danimics? They don’t give bass, they don’t give mids. They don't give anything.

Еще Экстрим 3 громче, это на 100% громкости даже слышно через мои колонки монитора) В целом Экстрим выигрывает, но Чардж сражается до последнего:) тоже хорош. Они обе классные, если очень честно, я обе люблю

Literalmente estoy escuchando estos dos altavoces con mi harman kardon onix studio 7 y la verdad el bajo del extremo 3 se escucha mucho más profundo y más cálido qué el charge 5 en cuanto a la musica por obvias razones es más caro el extremo 3.

Si, aquí el charge los bajos me suenan incompletos y la subida de medios hace que se pierda detalles y suene comprimido justo arriba de la mitad

@@samo6083 Not in my country: Xtreme 3 Costs 170$, The charge 5 Costs 145$ and the boombox 3 costs 380$ It' s worth getting the xtreme 3 over the charge, also because the boombox 3 costs more than 2 xtreme 3s the Xtreme is the best speaker for performance:money ratio for me, considering that two charges Cost 120$ more over an xtreme but an xtreme 3 costs only 25$ over the charge
