Today we have a video on JBL Clip 4 portable wireless bluetooth speaker. I bought this from LuLu Connect at Trivandrum for Rs.4300.
The package is attractive and matches the JBL branding.
We have the slogan 'Dare to Listen' on one side.
I bought the blue color one. There are many other colors available online.
Inside the box we have a quick start guide, a warranty card with details of product registration, a USB Type C cable and the Clip 4 speaker.
On the bottom we have the USB Type C chargin port. A rubber grip is provided so that the speaker can be kept on all surfaces. The carabiner hook helps to hang the speaker on suitable places.
On the front, we have the big JBL logo, Volume -, Play and Volume + buttons.
On the back we have the Power On/Off and Bluetooth buttons. A single press would switch on/off the speaker.
To connect to the phone switch on bluetooth, press the bluetooth button and look for the device JBL Clip 4 to pair. The pairing is quick.
Now let's check the audio performance.
As the audio is captured using my mobile phone, the quality might be a little less. The volume is at 75%.
Surprisingly this produces good bass along with clear mids and highs.
Inspite of having a rubber grip, the speaker moves when we play bass rich songs.
We can charge the speaker with a Type C charger or a powerbank. Under optimal volume, the battery lasts for 10 hours. While charging the red LED indicator is on and will be off on full charge.
Overall it's a great choice, especially when you love the brand JBL. The things missing are the battery life indicator on bluetooth, lack of a microphone and no support for JBL app.
