I have the mk2 and the real deciding factor for what it's capable of would be the size of the venue. I have had more than enough output for vocals, keys, guitar, bass and a kick drum for a small bar or coffee shop but felt lacking with just a singer and guitar at an outdoor gig by the pool

@@RoniltonDiasoficial Hi there. Never played a church, but the speaker easily handles 100 or more people. Your bigger challenge might be overall church acoustics, which tend to be very cavernous and call for secondary speakers further back near the audience, timed to match the sound waves coming from the front.

I think that even with RMS supposedly comparing apples with apples, there's an awful lot of smoke and mirrors in equipment output descriptions these days. I'm also inclined to think that modern class D amps don't sound as good as the old (but heavy) equipment of my youth. And give me simple knobs over digital screens any day!

You’re right and you’re not wrong. I’d say nothing beats a wooden cab, plastic seems to be unable to bring warm timbre, although I have come across a few modern PAs that manage to bring warmth. I’ll not sully the creators by naming my PA but it’s affordable, powerful and has a nice tone…oh and it’s a tower, the advantage of that is that it has 4tweeters on each tower and that brings great detail to the output. I do think there’s only one way to get a decent PA and that’s to use your ears in the same room; which the young lady in the clip did say.
