JBL was bought by Samsung a few years ago, original JBL products were great, s700, s400, s500, xtreme 1 and so on. Ever since the acquisition JBL products are now complicated plastic garbage like the everest 700, designed so consumers buy more of there products, without the ability to repair there old products. I have only bought the everest 700 elite and the e55bt and can say that they are maybe 40% quality of what JBL used to be.

I totally agree here. In germany my everest elite 700 was an 270€ headphone and this ultra poor quality ear pads died so damn fast that I just couldn't believe that they are 1. glued to the device an 2. they don't offer an official replacement. Honestly noone wants this pads twice. They have to be fixed as we can see in the video... they suck and I am so pissed. It was my first and last JBL product.

I got a good deal for my everest I bought it for 120 dollars canadian i think 2 years back but yeah these products are just so you just buy new jbl products same with my jbl earphones it just stopped working all of a sudden and i treated them really good

I think I would’ve bought t”new EarPads from Amazon and stripped the glue with little nail polish remover dry it out then glue back on new ear pads.

For original replacement pads, I would probably contact your regional JBL distributor. Going to the store where you purchase your headphones from should help / Alternatively there should be contact information on your box. - All the best!

Amazon now has replacement ear pads. Easy stick on with included doubled sided tape just like the manufacturer. Looks original.
