Thank you! I’ve used the first part of this video to open up the case only, as surprisingly my Flip 3 looks totally different. I own the Flip 3 stealth edition, so I had to open the battery case as well (which I didn’t mind as I had to replace that as well).

Hey, Great solution! one question, hope you see it - I cut the battery off (very swollen one and pretty dead) and there are 2 black + 2 red wires that were connected. will it still work or should i solder black to black and red to red?

FYI - NOT ALWAYS MICRO SOLDER FIX NEEDED: Just fixed my daughter's non-charging Charge 3 after switching out the battery which WAS NOT THE ISSUE. Not sure this is the more likely problem with the USB port but in ours, the 5-point contact piece within the USB metal housing was broken rather than the full metal housing piece which is soldered to the board. I was able to grab that mostly intact L-shaped piece which is plastic and then first tested it while carefully holding in in place and connecting a charger cable>>>>lights on speaker came on and started blinking!!! So, next got some quality plastic glue - E6000 craft adhesive - I had around and using a paperclip and needle was able to lightly and cleanly coat the remaining plastic broken post and also the inside of the metal USB housing that attached to the board. This glue is hard to work with in a small space but you have a few minutes before it sets up to apply to both pieces then fit into place. Let set 24 hours and tried to gently connect>>>WORKING GREAT. Probably need to be gentle with using port but I think I got enough glue in place to make it stronger than original. Wanted to post because I bet this broken plastic is probably the part that needs repair for many and the fix DOES NOT REQUIRE any micro-soldering tools or expertise,,,,well, maybe similar expertise, but with the E600 glue which can be tough. Hi. I have a strange problem (can't find anything on the internet). The 5th led is blinking forever and I have no sound at all. I can start the flip 3 and connect with bluetooth but that's all. Could thid be an issue with the charging port ? I bought a new battery and still the same problem.

my flip 3 is not this shape - my flip 4 is. I need to find video that shows a flat and round Flip 3. The insides are very different of course - only one speaker. If there is a battery it is under the mother board. I am thinking it can't be fixed.

I founded many videos of replace battery of a JBL Flip 3, but no one has the parts like this video. But here you dont replace the batery, and your video replacing it is from the other model different of this one. 😞 Dont know how to dismount this one to replace battery 😕
