this sound isn't the passive radiator. what is actually going on, is the this mode turns dsp off, what dsp does is limit the excursion of the main drivers by cutting off very low frequencys, removing it enables subsonic frequency to be sent to the drivers causing big excursion, although you probably wont hear much of it due to the size of the driver its still trying to reproduce them and thats the danger, a song with very low bass might cause a large over excursion and bottom out the woofers causing damage, also dsp is responsible for balancing the sound and giving clarity and quality at high volumes, without it you get a distorted mess.

@@moonfleet8863 nope. He is correct, although the word "subsonic" should actually be "infrasonic." Subsonic means slower than the speed of sound lol. Jbl makes sure to limit the bass so that no matter how much you turn it up, or what signal you send to it, it won't play louder that what it's capable of playing.

30's and lows by Bass Patrol has the deepest bass frequency of any song I've ever heard. This album is old school and was specifically designed to play in cars with subwoofers in the 90's and shake the whole car and break the windows. It takes about 20-30 for the bass to hit in the song. Be careful playing this song though! It will blow certain speakers if played to high even if not on low frequency mode
